Abstract
The cash register tape intended for cash slips for the customers consists, first of all, of the paper roll, having at least a part of the tape (2) provided with advertisement (4) and/or publicity legible by the customer and consisting of signs, letters, symbols and picture elements made on the paper roll (1) by printing or other stable form applicable to the paper roll (1). The advertisement (4) and/or publicity is placed either on the reverse (3) of the paper tape (2), whose facial side remains vacant for necessary price data or on the facial side of the paper tape (2) outside the area intended for necessary price data.

Technical Field
The present invention relates the cash register tape intended for cash slips for customers and made especially from paper roll.
Background of the Invention
There are known advertisements on cardboard or other folding paper cards, cards made from flexible materials, or on suspension cards etc There is also known advertisement on various special objects, which is basically realised when using the object It may be also connected with different types of paper objects
For example, an adhesive tape with a foil carrier tape is described in German published patent application DOS No. 4 236 634. The paper or the tissue is on one side covered with adhesive material that makes possible loosening from the adhesive tape which is letter printed.
French patent application No. 2 615 645 describes the conversion of the traffic and communication printed matters to advertisement, where the transportation information is on one side of the travel ticket and the other side is free for advertisement and publicity
There are also advertisements, known and demanded for publicity protection, made on parts of postcards, on the reverse side of beer trays, etc
The aim of this utility design is to make use of advertisement on paper objects in general and widespread use.
Summary of the Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide the cash register tape which overcomes the above-mentioned deficiencies. According to a first aspect of the invention
at least a part of the tape is provided with advertisement and/or publicity, as the customer may choose, consisting of signs, letters, symbols and picture elements, made by printing or other stable form suitable for paper roll.
The main advantage of this invention is the nonconventional use of advertisement and/or publicity on a current sales slip or cash slips. The advertisement can be printed in advance either during production or at the release of the cash slip, which means an accessible and relatively cheap use of advertisement or publicity having a wide effect and making a new advertisement medium.
It is advantageous if the advertisement and/or publicity is placed on the reverse of the paper tape, whose facial side remains vacant for necessary price data. In this case the advertisement and/or publicity is printed on the tape of the paper roll in advance and is supplied to the cash registers with the print.
It is also advantageous if the advertisement and/or the publicity is placed on the facial side of the paper tape outside the area intended for necessary price data. It is suitable for advertising on the margins of the tape and its use is limited by the place outside the price data. It is also possible to use a short advertisement or publicity directly printed when issuing the cash slip.
It is equally advantageous if the advertisement and/or publicity is spaced in regular distances or even in irregular distances. If the advertisement and/or publicity is spaced in irregular distances, it is possible to use it for various contest purposes, in addition.
Brief Description of the Drawings
The present invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which is a roll of paper tape in accordance with the invention in axonometric view.
Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments
Referring to Fig. te roll 1 of paper tape 2 for cash register is provided on reverse 3 with regularly printed advertisement 4 and/or publicity chosen by the customer either for presentation purposes of the firm or for firm publicity.
Before cutting of the paper coil (non-illustrated) to individual demanded widths of the resulting tape 2, the whole coil is printed with advertisement 4 with text or picture and at the same time the first rewind operation of the paper coil takes place. After this first rewind operation of the paper coil at which printing is done, the coil is again rewound back at the simultaneous cutting of the paper coil to the demanded width of the tape 2 of the paper roll 1. In the preceding technology the paper coil was rewound only once while being cut. Printing can be done in any colour of multicoloured.
The advertisement 4 is repeated in regular distances and is printed on the whole roll 1.
The advertisement can be printed on the paper tape 2 of the paper roll 1 in irregular distances. This advertisement 4 and/or publicity can be used for example for contest purposes.
The advertisement 4 can be also made on a narrow strip along the tape 2 of the paper roll 1 but always outside the place intended for the expected price data.
Printing can be used in well know kinds of tapes 2 in cash register as selftranscribing tapes 2 or solo tapes 2 and other generally used paper tapes 2, for example thermotapes and other kinds of tapes 2.
Although the present invention has been described in relation to particular embodiments thereof, many other variations and modifications and other uses will become apparent to those skilled in the art. It is preferred, therefore, that the present invention be limited not by the specific disclosure herein, but only by the appended claims.
Industrial Applicability
The present invention is intended for presentation or advertisement of firms on cash slips from paper tape to cash registers, in shops, restaurants etc., aimed for customers.
Claims
1. The cash register tape intended for cash slips for the customers consists, first of all, of the paper roll, characterized in that at least a part of the tape (2) is provided with advertisement (4) and/or publicity elligible by the customer and consisting of signs, letters, symbols and picture elements madde on the papper roll (1) by printing or other stable form applicable for the paper roll (1).
2. The tape according to claim 1 wherein the advertisement (4) and/or publicity is placed on the reverse (3) of the paper tape (2), whose facial side remains vacant for necessary price data.
3. The tape according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the advertisement (4) and/or publicity is placed on the facial side of the paper tape (2) outside the area intended for necessary price data.
4. The tape according to combination of claims 1 to 3 wherein the advertisement (4) and/or publicity is spaced in regular distances.
5. The tape according to combination of claims 1 to 3 wherein the advertisement (4) and/or publicity is spaced in irregular distances.
