Abstract

Die Erfindung geht aus von einem gasbeheizten Wassererhitzer mit einer Abgasüberwachungseinrichtung, die eine Strömungssicherung (10) und einen außerhalb der Strömungssicherung (10) angeordneten Temperaturfühler (16) zur Erfassung der Abgastemperatur bei Rückstau der Abgase aufweist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Abgastemperaturfühler (16) auf der Höhe einer in einer Abgasabführung (12) angeordneten Öffnung (18) angeordnet ist. Dadurch wird einerseits eine schnelle Ansprechzeit im Sicherheitsfall gewährleistet und andererseits ist die vorgeschlagene Vorrichtung universell bei gasbeheizten Wassererhitzern unterschiedlicher Leistungsgrößen einsetzbar.
