Abstract

The thermal overload device for a power switch has an electromagnetic actuator (11) that is triggered by a thermal release stage. The latter is in the form of a bimetallic element (12) that moves a sliding element. The operating point is determined by a lever (27) that is moved by a screw (23) which causes the lever to displace the slide element.
