Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Walzwerk mit Arbeitswalzen und mehrteiligen Stützwalzen, bestehend aus einem Grundkörper mit mehreren darauf in dessen Längsrichtung nebeneinander angeordneten Wälzlagern, die mit ihren Außenringen eine die Wälzlager umgreifende Hülse drehbar abstützen, deren Außenoberfläche den Walzballen der Stützwalze bildet, wobei der Grundkörper um seine Längsachse verdrehbar ist und in etwa der Breite der Wälzlager entsprechende zylindrische Abschnitte aufgeteilt ist, deren parallel zueinander verlaufende Zylinderachsen jeweils benachbarter Abschnitte zueinander versetzt sind. Dabei liegt die Hülse (10) mit ihrer Innenoberfläche allseitig an den Außenoberflächen der Außenringe der Wälzlager (9) an und erhält dadurch eine Exzentrizität, die sich aus der Exzentrizität der Abschnitte (3 bis 6) des Grundkörpers (1) vermindert durch den Rück-Biegeeinfluß der Hülse (10) ergibt.
