Abstract

The mechanical coupling device uses a hook (3) projecting from the housing of the overload relay (1) to fit into a corresponding opening in the housing of the protection switch (2), with a locking pin (5) projecting from at least one of the flat side faces at the end (4) of the hook. A rigid terminal pin (10) projects from the relay housing to cooperate with a terminal clamp (11) of the protection switch, the locking pin located upon reception of the terminal pin in the terminal clamp.
