Claims (8)

  1. A fastening plate (2) for the fastening of a fitting part, e.g. of a hinge arm, to a support wall (1), consisting of a lower plate (3) provided with two bores (11) for fastening screws (12) and with two pedestal-like elevated portions (9, 10) and of an upper plate (4) which covers the lower plate (3) at least in part and which has an elongated middle part (16) having devices for the fastening of the fitting part and lateral, wing-like prolongations (21, 22) which are provided with longitudinal holes (24) whose centre lines extend at right angles to the centre line of the middle part (16) and through which the fastening screws (12) likewise engage, with the pedestal-like elevated portions (9; 10) engaging as guide pieces into longitudinal holes (24; 23) of the upper plate,
    characterised in that
    the two bores (11) of the lower plate (3) are arranged with the same spacing from the longitudinal centre line of the lower plate and are arranged diagonally opposite one another and the longitudinal holes (24) of the upper plate (4) through which the fastening screws (12) pass are arranged with the same spacing from the transverse axis (20) of the upper plate (4) extending through the wing-like prolongations (21, 22) and disposed diagonally opposite one another such that two fastening plates (2) can be mounted in twin abutment on oppositely disposed sides of a support wall (1) which are provided with corresponding bores (29, 30) disposed in pairs next to one another for the fastening screws (12); and
    in that parallel longitudinal holes (23), into which pedestal-like elevated portions (10) of the lower plate (3) engage, are arranged in each of the wing-like prolongations (21, 22) of the upper plate (4) parallel to the longitudinal holes (24) through which the fastening screws (12) pass.
  2. A fastening plate in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the pedestal-like elevated portions (10) consist of spigots.
  3. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 2, characterised in that the elongate holes (12) passed through by the spigots (23) have indentations in their edges in their middle regions into which the spigots (10) engage for the centration of the upper plate (4) relative to the lower plate (3).
  4. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the lower plates (3) are made symmetrical to their transverse centre line (14) and the upper plate (4) is made symmetrical to its longitudinal central line extending through the middle part such that the plate halves can be brought to identical coverage by rotation through 180°.
  5. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the bores (29, 30) in the support wall (1) are passage bores.
  6. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the bores (11) of the lower plate (3) are surrounded by pedestal-like elevated portions (9) which are lower than the thickness of the upper plate (4).
  7. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 6, characterised in that dowels (13) of homogeneous material are integrally moulded on the bores (11) of the lower plate (3).
  8. A fastening plate in accordance with any one of the claims 1 to 7, characterised in that dowels (60) of homogeneous material are in each case integrally moulded on the side edges of the lower plate and their centre lies on the centre line (53) of the lower plate.
