Construction unit according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the centre line (M) of at least one longitudinal groove (28) of the side (18) of the at least one hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n; 12; 13) is aligned with the centre line of a longitudinal groove of the other hollow section and the two longitudinal grooves receive a joint connecting element (30) for the positive connection of the two hollow sections.
  5. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised by a slide-in or plug-in element (30) with an I-shaped cross section as the connecting element.
  6. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that, in each case, two pairs of undercut longitudinal grooves (28) each extending close to the comers (16) of the section are aligned opposite one another on the adjacent narrow sides (18) and longitudinal sides (19) of the hollow sections.
  7. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the comer regions of the hollow sections (10, 10a to 10g or 11, 11a, 11n) having a channel-like hollow space (24, 40) flanked by two longitudinal grooves (28) have the same shape and dimensions.
  8. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the comer regions (16a) of the hollow sections (12, 13) having a closed cross section and flanked by two longitudinal grooves (28) have the same shape and dimensions.
  9. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the ratio between the cross-sectional length (a) and the cross-sectional width (b) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n, 12; 13) is between 1.2 and 2.4.
  10. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised by a ratio between the cross-sectional length (a) and the cross-sectional width (b) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n, 12; 13) of approximately 1.414.
  11. Construction unit according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that, in the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n, 12; 13), a rectangular hollow space (14) is designed as an axial opening, its inner cross-sectional length (c) being greater than its inner cross-sectional width (c1).
  12. Construction unit according to claim 11, characterised by a ratio between the cross-sectional length (c) and the cross-sectional width (c1) of the hollow space (14) of approximately 1.4 to 2.5.
  13. Construction unit according to one of claims 11 to 12, characterised in that at least two opposing sides (18, 19) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n, 12; 13) each have a pair of undercut longitudinal grooves (28) and each longitudinal groove is adjacent to a channel-like hollow space (24, 40) in the section associated with each comer (16).
  14. Construction unit according to claim 13, characterised in that the narrow side (18) of the at least one hollow section (10) is provided approximately centrally with an undercut longitudinal groove (28) and a pair of undercut longitudinal grooves (28) is provided in the longitudinal side (19) of the section, one longitudinal groove in each case being adjacent to one of the two comers (16) delimiting the longitudinal side (19) of the section.
  15. Construction unit according to claim 13 or claim 14, characterised in that the distance (n) between the centre line (M) of each of the two longitudinal grooves (28) extending close to the comers (16) of the at least one hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n; 12; 13) and the comer is identical.
  16. Construction unit according to one of claims 13 to 15, characterised in that the undercut space (26) of the longitudinal groove (28) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g; 11, 11a, 11n, 12; 13) has a rectangular cross section.
  17. Construction unit according to claim 16, characterised in that the thickness (f2) of ribs (22a) delimiting the longitudinal groove (28) corresponds approximately to the height (h) of the undercut space (26).
  18. Construction unit according to one of claims 13 to 17, characterised in that a comer region (16a) with a closed cross section extends between the two undercut longitudinal grooves (28) of the at least one beam or hollow section (12, 13) provided on either side of a comer (16).
  19. Construction unit according to claim 18, characterised in that at least one diagonal groove (42) is formed in the closed comer region (16a) from the central hollow space (14).
  20. Construction unit according to one of claims 13 to 17, characterised in that a comer channel (40) having a closed cross section in the form of a hollow space in the section extends in the corner (16) between the two undercut longitudinal grooves (28) of the at least one beam or hollow section (11, 11a, 11n) provided on either side of a comer (16).
  21. Construction unit according to one of claims 13 to 17, characterised in that a channel-like hollow space (24) in the section extending in the comer between the two undercut longitudinal grooves (28) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g) arranged on either side of a comer (16) opens on to an adjacent side (18 or 19) of the section in the form of an undercut edge groove (20).
  22. Construction unit according to claim 21, characterised in that an edge groove (20) departing from the hollow space (24) in the section is provided on each narrow side (18) and longitudinal side (19) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10, 10a to 10g).
  23. Construction unit according to claim 21 or claim 22, characterised in that the thickness (f) of ribs (22) delimiting the edge groove (20) is shorter than the thickness (f1) of the ribs (22a) delimiting the longitudinal groove (28).
  24. Construction unit according to one of claims 11 to 23, characterised in that the central hollow space (14) of the at least one beam or hollow section (10e, 11) is subdivided by means of webs (38, 38a, 39) inclined relative to its sides (18, 19).
