Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schalldämpfer, welcher einen rohrförmigen Hohlkörper (1) zur Durchleitung eines Mediums (2) in seinem Inneren mit Auslässen (4), vorzugsweise Löchern oder Schlitzen, sowie einen, den rohrförmigen Hohlkörper (1) umfassenden Mantel mit hinter den jeweiligen Auslässen (4) des rohrförmigen Hohlkörpers (1) angeordneten, gegeneinander und nach außen hin abgeschlossenen Hohlräumen (6) aufweist, der sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß die Abschlußwände der Hohlräume gegeneinander (7) aus einem faserverstärktem, vorzugsweise glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff gefertigt sind und daß der faserverstärkte Kunststoff zusätzlich Kugeln (8), vorzugsweise Glaskugeln enthält. The invention relates to a muffler which has a tubular hollow body ( 1 ) for the passage of a medium ( 2 ) in its interior with outlets ( 4 ), preferably holes or slots, and a jacket comprising the tubular hollow body ( 1 ) with behind the respective outlets ( 4 ) of the tubular hollow body ( 1 ) arranged, mutually and externally closed cavities ( 6 ), which is characterized in that the end walls of the cavities against each other ( 7 ) are made of a fiber-reinforced, preferably glass-fiber reinforced plastic and that the fiber-reinforced Plastic additionally contains balls ( 8 ), preferably glass balls.
