Abstract

In einer Anordnung zur Signalübertragung zwischen einer Geberstelle (10) und einer Empfangsstelle (12), die miteinander durch eine Zweidrahtleitung (14) verbunden sind, fließt über diese Zweidrahtleitung ein zwischen zwei Grenzwerten veränderlicher analoger Signalstrom (IS). Dieser Signalstrom repräsentiert einen in der Geberstelle (10) von einem Sensor (16) erfaßten Meßwert, und er bildet den für den Betrieb der Geberstelle (10) erforderlichen Versorgungsstrom. Die Geberstelle (10) enthält eine Schaltung (36), die eine konstante Betriebsspannung für die Geberstelle (10) erzeugt. In der Geberstelle (10) ist ferner eine steuerbare Stromquelle (32) vorgesehen, die den über die Zweidrahtleitung (14) fließenden Strom in Abhängigkeit von dem Meßwert bestimmt. Die die Betriebsspannung für die Geberstelle (10) erzeugende Schaltung (36) ist ein Schaltregler, und es ist eine Spannungsquelle (34) in der Geberstelle (10) vorgesehen, deren Ausgangsspannung sich entgegengesetzt zum Meßwert ändert und die die Eingangsspannung des Abwärts-Schaltreglers bildet.

In an arrangement for signal transmission between a transmitter point (10) and a receiving point (12), which are connected to one another by a two-wire line (14), an analog signal current (I S ) which varies between two limit values flows via this two-wire line. This signal current represents a measured value detected in the transmitter location (10) by a sensor (16), and it forms the supply current required for the operation of the transmitter location (10). The transmitter (10) contains a circuit (36) that generates a constant operating voltage for the transmitter (10). A controllable current source (32) is also provided in the transmitter point (10) and determines the current flowing via the two-wire line (14) as a function of the measured value. The circuit (36) generating the operating voltage for the transmitter point (10) is a switching regulator, and a voltage source (34) is provided in the transmitter point (10), the output voltage of which changes in the opposite direction to the measured value and which forms the input voltage of the step-down switching regulator .
