Abstract

Das Scharnier für Glastüren weist einen dreiteiligen Schwenkzylinder auf, von der innen- oder in der Mitte liegende Zylinder 3 an einer Wand und die beiden außenliegenden Zylinder 1 an der Tür jeweils durch eine über den zugehörigen Zylinder überstehende Platte 4 befestigt sind. Damit das Scharnier für unterschiedlich gestaltete Duschabtrennungen verwendbar ist und insbesondere eine Schwenkbewegung nach beiden Seiten über große Winkel und dabei gleichzeitig ein Einrasten in bestimmten Stellungen möglich ist, ist der Durchmesser des Schwenkzylinders 1, 3 mindestens dreimal so groß wie die Dicke der Glasscheiben und die an der Tür zu befestigenden Zylinder 1 weisen im Bereich ihrer außenliegenden Stirnflächen je einen über die Schwenkachse hinausgehenden Einschnitt 9 zur Aufnahme der Tür auf. Der dreiteilige Zylinder weist einen im Verhältnis zur Dicke der Glasscheibe großen Durchmesser auf, so daß es möglich ist, Schwenkbewegungen nach außen und innen über große Winkel sicherzustellen, ohne daß die Scharniere diese Schwenkbewegungen behindern. Die Trenn- oder Türscheibe wird mit Hilfe der Einschnitte mit den außenliegenden Zylindern fest, sicher und dicht verbunden, ohne daß die Scheibe, selbst wenn sie entsprechend dick ist, die Schwenkbewegung behindert.
