Abstract

The toy or puzzle is in the shape of a sphere or hexahedral surface made up of a number of curved components in engagement with one another via tongued and grooved edges, and can be slid relative to one another by a system of radial T-pieces (4) with radial arms (46), springs (7) and balls (8). The components are connected to an inner spherical core made from two hollow hemispherical sections (10, 11). One of the outer components of the toy has a lug which allows it to be suspended, for example, from a key ring.

Description

The invention relates, as indicated by the wording, a TOY OR A MULTI-COMBINABLE MINIATURE ORNAMENT, SKILLS DIDACTIC, based on regular dihedral body, concretely a spherical block subdivided into a regular and exact number of fractions that can be moved using the hands of the user, around the core of said body making the movements in the direction of its coordinate axes and independently planes to which, said axes, divide, the sphere or the body specific dihedral.

The invention claims, mainly to harmonize the structure interior of the toy by invariably maintaining the number of pieces external commons of it, with expressions or manifestations suitable for the representation of the figure, image or character that one want to demonstrate. That is, all of the internal parts of the assembly are invariable in their function, so that only the cover pieces that show the visible side of the toy will designed and molded with one of the parts of the toy which is a "puzzle or puzzle "which configures the set in any version of the object, character, animal or thing reproduced.

Therefore these cover pieces showing the visible side of the toy, would necessarily have an exact basic portion, proportional to the spherical or hexahedral volume of the whole, 1/8 of this one having the same basic and compulsory design, and, having necessarily similar means of subjugation or anchoring of all these.

In any case, the invention mainly concerns the antecedents included in the state of the art of the inventor himself.

The invention starts from the same concept, an internal spherical means, having six bracing or orthogonally fixing points perpendicular to each other.

A set of six identical pieces which are braced at the six points previously mentioned serves as a guide for the movable parts and of support.

A set of eight dimensionally accurate support pieces, seven being movable or movable equal to each other and one being fixed and uneven serving as a pivot for the orbital movement of others.

And, eight cover pieces, which include an outer part of the reproduced object, dimensionally exact, which are provided with anchoring means in the support pieces, one will remain fixed and the seven other movable or movable in unison with these, which has it even a dimensionally exact portion proportional to the body.

INVENTIVE ACTIVITY

The invention relies on the idea of incorporating a core spherical with hollow structure, divided into two grooved adjustment parts and tongue and having centering means, which are joined together by and by means of fixing fittings with a lost or hidden head in the internal part of the structure including the six housings - orthogonally and symmetrically distributed for the guide parts; means for accessing said fittings and means for location of the octant which acts as a pivot.

The invention also relies on the idea of incorporating a part guide, which having the same general format of structure, has means direct anchoring and subjugation which while determining the fixing in position of the part does not prevent a certain mobility vertical of it so as not to obstruct the movement of the parts mobile and support.

The invention also relies on the idea of the seven moving parts mentioned above and commented on in the previous idea and which, by the imperative proportional, the equivalent to an octant of sphere, then constituted by a triangular-spherical sector sized with the necessary measures to circulate on the spherical core avoiding the rods of the pieces of guide housed in the six mentioned accommodation. It is a hollowed out room by the upper plane so that the central member for the bracing covering pieces, does not exceed the plane defining the face outside (convex) of the part, while its sides (or catheters) have means for engaging relatively in the positions marked by the pivoting part immobile or not movable.

The invention also relies on the idea that the stationary pivot piece has a format analogous to the previous ones with an identical proportion. She is also integrated by a body hollowed out by the upper plane, but the limb central part of the assembly for the cover piece, slightly protrudes the plane defining the outer (convex) face thereof. And, internally it has symmetrical radial means which coincidentally with another of the spherical core forms the accommodation for three members elastic engagement (retractable).

Another idea of the invention is that the above-mentioned immobile part, in another version, count on the central member of the assembly of additional means for mounting a key ring or any other object, pendant, ornament or the like, which implies that the piece of overlap, associated with it, is configured in accordance with characteristics of said means.

In relation to said particularities, we will make the exhibition detailed characteristics of the invention which is carried out basically made of non-toxic ABS plastics and fittings non-corrosive stainless steel materials.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The spherical organ or nucleus is a semi-hollow body divided into two adjustable parts by tongue and groove assembly where, while coinciding with the adjustment edges and / or with the axis of symmetry, it has a small bayonet recess for centering the two parts.

One of these parts includes the structure with the female parts for fixing (screwing, pressure or any other) of fittings which serve as a union for the two parts of the spheres where, the one opposite, has two diametrically opposite holes, with the mouth submerged and oblique through which passes the head of the fixing fitting lost below the sphere.

Also the other semi-spherical part - the opposite to that which has the holes for fittings-, in a quadrant thereof, present at the exterior three concave, oblong and truncated blasts at one end, which are distributed radially and equidistant from each other other. They form the seats for the balls and the springs of the retractable enclosures incorporated in the parts - the octant motionless.

The six housings for the guide parts are openwork re-entrant with square mouth and bevelled edges, which inside are delimited by four parallel walls which penetrate less than half of the interior radius of the sphere.

The internal edges of these walls are the anchor points for the guide pieces.

The six openings are equidistant from each other and orthogonally distributed, four coincide with the line of union of the two parts of the sphere - half on each side - and the other two at the poles of each.

The first four are delimited by four separate walls between they. Three are contained in semi-spheres which have the points of clamping and others are contained in the opposite semi-sphere and the two seconds are delimited by four united walls or holes square tubulars.

The guide parts which are mounted in said six openings, have the known "T" format from the state of the art. The head is shaped square, curved in an arc parallel to the sphere; with the edges doubly bevelled and rounded corners.

Said arcuate planes have both inside and outside the degree of curve coinciding respectively with the plane described by the eight moving and fixed parts and the eight covering or enveloping parts.

The support is a prismatic rod which is cut at the end lower by an angular opening in clamp mode, so that the spikes, outside and laterally, have fashionable shoulders enclosing claws.

The arrangement of the holes and their internal composition and symmetry guide pieces, allow the fixing rod to be mounted without the need for a precise entry position.

As we mentioned in The Inventive Activity, the seven moving parts with the dimensions of an octant of sphere, are triangle-spherical parts, hollowed out by the convex external plane in defining a central cylinder, which does not exceed the surface plane and which, internally, has three vertical grooves for assembly to bayonet of the respective covering or enveloping parts.

The upper edges of the sides of said part are bevelled; the rounded edges and chamfered sides going in towards the base. At center on each side coinciding with the axis of its radius, are vertical recesses at mid-height. These are notches that are used to enclose relatively and circumstantially, when the pieces pass through the locking points of the stationary pivot piece.

Finally, the octant or pivot piece, has a format substantially identical to that of the previous ones and whose dimensions are obviously identical. The means of assembly for the covering parts or enveloping are the same, with a slight difference, it comes out slightly for the coupling of the respective part of recovery in a case of special realization.

The edges are hollowed out at right angles, just like the ones we know. It presents particularly inside vaulted corridors closed inside and open outside, radial and equidistant one another. These are guides for the accommodation of members of isolation. Three isolation points composed by known organs with spring and ball. A spring and a ball are housed in said corridors and in the semi-spherical blasts which coincide with these.

The aforementioned tops of these hollowed out pieces at right angles coincide and mate in the coincident edges of the three adjoining rods guide "T" pieces.

In a different version of said part, the assembly member with the covering or enveloping part, is adapted to constitute an anchor member for a key holder or other means of subjugation, an object, an ornament or the like.

For this purpose, the respective covering part relating to the previous version will also be different and specially adapted to be mounted in said assembly member.

A broader idea of the essential characteristics of the invention will be carried out below, with reference to the sheets of drawings which accompany this thesis, where in a somewhat schematic and only by way of example, the preferred details of the invention are shown.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The illustrations represent in detail the assemblies, the parts and the forms of the invention, its structural features and its concept details.

An analysis of these facilitates a broad assimilation of the content of the invention.

From the representations of Figure 2 and successively until Figures 7A, we see representations of the half-sets and the disruption of the invention.

The sphere or core of the assembly is indicated with (1) so general, (10) and (11) being the semi-spherical parts which integrate it.

With (2) we indicate the non-movable pivot piece, (2A) being the differently adapted version of it, with its covering parts or enveloping (3) and (3A) respectively.

With (4) we generally indicate the "T" guide pieces and with (5) moving or displaceable parts which also serve as a support to their respective covering or enveloping parts (3).

The two semi-spherical parts (10) (11) which make up the core (1), are respectively coupled together by grooved assembly and tongue (13) (14), serving as an anchoring element the recess (16) (16A) (Figures 2A-A and 2A-D).

The means (1) has six openings (12) distributed equidistantly from each other others and orthogonally in the spherical body; four being located at 90 ° on the assembly line (L) and two being at the poles of each semi-sphere (10) (11). These openings (12) intended for mounting the parts of "T" guide (4) having a mouth having bevelled edges (12A) and they are internally composed in different ways. The fourth intersection line holes (12) (L) are composed of two walls parallel (12B-12C) and two parallel legs (12D-12E). The walls (12B-12C) and the tab (12D) are integrated in the semi-sphere (11). The assembly of the two semi-spheres (10-11) means that the housings (12) are mounted in this way.

The square formation of the housings (12) formed as well by the combination of walls (12B-12C) and legs (12D-12E) only by the body tubular (12F) allows the guide pieces (4) to be mounted in said housing without the need for precise orientation and necessary of it. They are assembled in a very simple way.

The semisphere (10) has drilled holes (18) (18A) diametrically oblique projection opposites for mounting the respective fittings (6-6A) which are fixed without the corresponding female means (15-15A) (Figures 3B, 4B, 4D), located inside the opposite semi-sphere (11), remaining inside said holes (18-18A) and under the bark of the semi-sphere (10).

The aforementioned semi-sphere (11) is in the outer bark (figure 4A) in a quadrant of it equivalent to an octant of it, plus concretely the place intended for the coupling of the pivot part (2), and it has said concave, profile strikes (17, 17A and 17D) oblong and with a straight point in the form of a truncated irregular ellipse.

The filthings (17, 17A and 17B) that we can see particularly in figures 2D and 2A-D serve as coupling and seat to the retractable locking member composed by the spring (7) and the ball (8).

These retractable engagement members, three in total, are almost completely contained in the pivot piece (2).

Said piece (2) which as we see in the different representations of Figures 2 and 2A, is a triangle-spherical piece equivalent to a spherical octant, is provided by the interior plane (20) said vaulted corridors (21-21A and 21B) distributed along the radial axes of the room. They are closed internally (22-22A and 22B) and open from the exterior (23, 23A and 23B) constituting the housing for said organs of confinement, according to FIG. 2D and 2A-D while the detonations (17, 17A and 17B), serve as seats for the truncated edges (17C, 17D and 17E) respectively, act as a stop for the balls (8).

It can be appreciated in said representation that the distance between the bottom (22-22A and 22B) and the vents (23-23A and 23B) of the vaulted corridors (12, 21A and 21B) is less than the distance between said bottoms and said abutment edges (17C, 17BD and 17E) of the detonations (17, 17A and 17B) by allowing the ball (8) to come out slightly and partially from the part (2) by constituting three points of relative isolation for the movable parts (5) (figure 6).

As in the known state of the art, the sides (24-24A and 24B) of the part (2) are chamfered and lowered downwards. The edges (25, 25A and 25B) are hollowed out at right angles to adjust to prismatic members of the adjoining guide pieces (4).

This allows the displacement of the moving parts (5) and the respective part (3) do without inappropriate friction, obstructions and blockages.

The dimension of the head (40) is carried out according to the fact that, whatever the position of the part (5) in its displacements and whatever either the angle it occupies, it will always, in a proportion more or less, guided by at least two heads (40) of said parts guides (4), making accidental and even forced dislodging of these, unless it breaks.

They are associated with a vertical prismatic rod (46) which its lower end is cut by a "V" shaped opening pliers and the two resulting tips have external shoulders (45-45A) harpoon-style.

When the parts (4) are mounted on the spherical core (1), the rods (46) are fitted into the square holes (12) by compressing slightly the "V" opening (44) until the claws (45-45A) lock into place against edges (12G), walls (12B-12C) and / or legs (12D-12E) and / or the square tube (12F) which delimit the interior housing openwork (12).

The rod (46) is directly related to the openings (47-47A) of the head (40) located laterally with respect to said rods (46) simply to favor molding and demolding operations of the part which as we said will be made of ABS.

It should be understood as long as the "V" opening (44) allows a adjusted mounting of the rod (46) between the walls (12B-12C) or the bracket (12D-12E) or the square tube (12F) of the housings (12), the pressure is not strong enough to prevent the "T" piece (4) from shifting relative vertical to allow very little play, but sufficient, to that the guidance of the octant or movable parts (5) is not forced or retained by said guide piece (4).

The aforementioned parts or the movable octants indicated so general with (5) (figure 6) which has, according to what is known in the State of Technique, a general triangle-spherical shape, in this case, they have a recess (50) in the upper plane from which projects centrally a female member (51) of the assembly, provided internally and vertically 120 ° grooves (52-52A and 52B) for adjustment to bayonet of certain respective male members (30) for assembling the covering or enveloping parts (3).

These moving parts or octants (5) which also have a known shape, are defined by chamfered sides (53-53A-53B) which are tilted downwards and blunt edges (54-54A-54B), they have in the center of said sides, mid-height vertical recesses (55-55A-55B), which are the ones provided for relative isolation in the balls (8) which protrude relatively of the pivot piece (2), as we had the opportunity to describe previously and see in the figures (2D and 2A-D), so that when the pieces (5) are moved in different movements necessary for the realization of the game, according to the invention, they pass by grazing the sides (24, 24A, 24D) of the part (2) and its smooth parts push down the ball (8) while compressing partially the spring (7), when said ball (8) coincides with one of the recesses (55, 55A, 55B) of the part (5) the spring (7) is triggered and the ball (8) adjusts in these recesses (55-55A-55B). This weak is easily released by exerting slight pressure on the piece (5).

A piece or an external octant of covering or enveloping (3), defining the figure of the toy, in a differently adapted version (3A), is shown in Figures 2A, C and D; she would be provided an annular female member (3B) (figure 8) for adaptation to the member central assembly (27) and a groove (3C) through which penetrates the organ of the pivot piece (2A) fitted with a shaped anchoring element fork (2B) whose legs (2C-2D) are integral with the member central assembly (27) of said part (2A). The anchor (2B) defines a ring mode opening (2F) to be subjected to a independent element or object, for example a key holder (9) (Figures 9 and 9A).

The versatility that can be obtained from the immobile pivot piece (2-2A) is a great advantage since it can have multiple different adaptations to be able to couple it to multiple objects without this diminishing any condition of the development of the game, according to the invention, in the multiple representations that they can adopt and where we have an elementary example in the aforementioned figures 9 and 9A.

Once the nature of the model has been properly described, we can see timely effects, that this is not limited to the exact details of this exhibition, but on the contrary, in this one we will introduce the modification that we consider appropriate, without however modifying the essential characteristics of it, which we claim below.
