Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Walzen von Stahlprofilen, insbesondere in einem Universal-Trägerwalzwerk, mit einer wechselweisen X- und H-Walzung sowie gezielter Kühlung des Stahlprofils beim Walzen, ermöglicht mit einfachen Mitteln und geringem Aufwand eine gleichmäßigere Temperatur über den Querschnitt eines gewalzten Stahlprofils nach dessen Abkühlung, wenn bei der Vorwalzung mit einem X-Kaliber auf jeder Seite des Stahlprofils an den Verbindungsstellen von Steg und Flansch eine Kühlwasserrinne ausgebildet wird.
