Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Lackieranlage zum elektrostatischen Lackieren, bei dem der Lack durch einen unter Hochspannung stehenden betriebsseitigen Teil (10) der Anlage elektrostatisch aufgeladen und dann auf ein geerdetes Lackiergut aufgebracht wird, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass der Lack von einem vorratsseitigen Teil (1) der Anlage einem ein gasförmiges Medium enthaltenden Zwischenreservoir (18) im betriebsseitigen Teil (10) der Anlage zugeführt wird, das dabei nicht entlüftet wird, so dass das gasförmige Medium komprimiert und dabei ein Förderdruck aufgebaut wird, und dass der Lack durch den so gebildeten Förderdruck nach der elektrostatischen Trennung von betriebsseitigem Teil (10) und vorratsseitigem Teil (1) auf das geerdete Lackiergut aufgebracht wird.
