Abstract

L'invention porte sur un compresseur centrifuge à boîte d'engrenage incorporé, comportant deux rotors (F) ou plus, dont chacun représente un étage de compression séparé, entraînés par l'intermédiaire d'une couronne principale (B), par de pignons (1) transmettant le mouvement de rotation aux rotors (F) par l'intermédiaire d'accouplements (2) à doubles cannelures ou à fente. Le flux de gaz comprimé, qui peut être explosif, est séparé de la circulation d'huile et de l'environnement: par certains des paliers (3) de l'ensemble à rotors et des paliers (4) des pignons, par des logements (5) démontables rendus étanches par des bagues d'étanchéité (b). Pour faciliter l'inspection visuelle et l'accès aux logements (5) des trappes d'accès (a) pratiquées dans le carter (C) permettent d'effectuer un démontage rapide lors d'un arrêt en retirant les couvercles (7) supports d'engrenage; toutefois ils ne devront pas nécessairement être retirés dans tous les cas puisqu'il existe des orifices (b) d'un diamètre (c) supérieur à celui (e) des accouplements (2), fermés par des couvercles démontables (8), qui constituent chacun avec un pignon (1) et un accouplement (2) un ensemble (G) démontable d'un seul tenant.
