Abstract

The casing comprises an opening (3) which is driven by a motor with both directions of rotation (B1,B2). The motor is controlled by a pair of switches (S1,S2) for each of its directions of rotation. The switches are integral parts of the motor and are operated by remote control (6). The remote control has two levers held in an inoperative position by springs. Outside the motor, is a flexible connection (14) running over a drive drum which has a manual rotation drive component whose ends are attached to each of the levers.

Description

The subject of the invention is a bay unit comprising a blackout product driven by a two engine direction of rotation, a pair of switches for motor control in each of its directions of rotation and mechanical means for manual actuation of these switches.

A bay block is a set that includes a window and a concealment product. It is equipped with a two windings allowing the rotation of the motor in both ways. The switches have the effect to apply the sector phase to one or other of the motor windings to get either sense of rotation.

In known bay blocks (see e.g. US-A-4,550,759), the switches are mounted in a control box placed in the part lower of the bay block and they are actuated by push buttons. Electrical wiring is therefore necessary between the control box and the motor which is located in the upper part of the bay block.

The object of the present invention is to simplify the wiring and facilitate the integration of a motor in a bay block.

The bay block according to the invention is characterized in that that the switches are built into the motor and that mechanical means for actuating switches are made up of remote handling means.

Elimination of wiring between the control box and the engine has the effect of significantly reducing the cost of the bay block. The removal of the wiring has further the advantage of eliminating the presence of a voltage electric on the manual control and facilitate compliance with safety regulations.

According to one embodiment of the invention, means of remote handling consist of a flexible link, such that a rope, a cable or a chain, passing on a drive drum associated with an organ manual rotation drive, the ends of this flexible tie being attached to the ends of two levers mounted in the engine, intended to activate the switches and kept in an inoperative position by springs.

Instead of a flexible link driven by a drum, it is possible to use a simple pair of cords or rods, rigid or flexible.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a mode of the invention.

Figure 1 is a schematic front view of a block bay.

Figure 2 is a detail view, in axial section of a part of the engine casing fitted to the bay block.

Figure 3 shows the electrical diagram of the motor and his food.

Figure 4 shows the remote manipulator, at one slightly larger scale than Figure 2.

Dans sa partie inférieure, le bloc baie est équipé d'un télémanipulateur 6 pour la commande du moteur.FIG. 1 represents a bay block 1 having a opening or bay 2 and a means of obscuring this opening consisting of a rolling shutter 3 a winding tube mounted in the upper part bay block 2 and carried, on one side, by a bearing 4 and, on the other side, by a motor housed in the tube winding and whose housing 5 is fixed to a support fixed and protrudes out of the winding tube. In its lower part, the bay block is equipped with a remote manipulator 6 for motor control.

The motor is a motor with two windings B1 and B2 and a phase shift capacitor C (Figure 3), each of these windings alternately fulfilling the function of main winding and auxiliary winding depending on whether phase P of the network is applied to one or the other windings by means of two switches S1 and S2.

Figure 2 shows part of the tubular casing 5 of the motor, without the winding tube. In this case 5 is mounted a support 7 in which are mounted the switches S1 and S2, as well as two levers 8 and 9 articulated respectively, by their two ends, around an axis 10, respectively 11. Lever 8 extends above switch S1 and lever 9 extends above switch S2. A spring 12 supports lever 8 to make it inoperative. Likewise, a spring 13 supports the lever 9 to make it inoperative. At the other end of the lever 8 is attached a strand 14a of a flexible link 14, such as a rope or a cable, another strand 14b of this link being attached to the free end of the lever 9. This flexible link 14 is wound on a drum 15 which can be rotated by a button 16 constituting, with the drum 15, the manipulator 6 mounted in a housing 19. In the example shown, the flexible link 14 is guided by sheaths 17 and 18 between the housing 19 and the casing 5 of the engine.

A rotation to the left or to the right of button 16 has for effect of lowering either of the levers 8 or 9 and to close the corresponding switch, i.e. control the rotation of the motor in one or the other meaning. As soon as button 16 is released, the lever correspondent becomes ineffective under the effect of his comes out and the engine stops.

The construction shown and described above can be further simplified by removing the drum 15 and its button 16, the remote handling means being simply made up of a pair of cords or rigid or flexible rods corresponding to the strands 14a and 14b in Figure 2.
