Abstract

The ceiling is fixed in place using a hammer head screw (10) which has a tension spring (26) that abuts the screw head (16) and a clamp (20) pushed on to the screw shank (22) and which pulls the clamp towards the screw head. The tension spring is an elastic ring or an elastic band with a fastening for mounting on the clamp of the screw head. The screw may alternatively have a compression spring to press the clamp towards the screw head. This can be a spring washer.

Description

The invention relates to a hammer head screw for ceiling mounting with the features of the preamble of claim 1 (US 3 483 910 A). By hammer head is meant a screw head having different dimensions in the longitudinal and transverse directions, so for example a rectangular, rhomboid or parallelogram-shaped screw head. For example, an oval or elliptical screw head would also be conceivable.

Another hammerhead bolt is known from BIS-Walraven. The known hammer head screw is provided for positive insertion into a longitudinal slot having box profile mounting rail. The screw head can be aligned in the direction of the slot through this insert into the mounting rail and bring by rotation by about 90 ° into engagement with the box profile formed laterally of the slot undercuts. An attached under the screw head to a screw shaft plastic spring element with semi-annular spring wings is supported laterally of the slot on an outer side of the mounting rail. The spring element presses the hammer head screw in the axial direction from the fastening rail and thereby the screw head in contact with the undercuts of the mounting rail. As a result, the hammer head bolt is provisionally clamped to the mounting rail. It is avoided that the hammer head screw unintentionally falls out after insertion into the mounting rail again or shifts unintentionally in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail. An intentional displacement by overcoming the clamping force of the spring element for positioning the hammer head screw is possible. Furthermore, the spring element ensures, for example, when perpendicularly mounted on a wall mounting rail a right angle projection of the hammer head screw.

For final attachment pushed onto the screw shank clamping element in the form of a perforated disc is clamped by a nut against the outside of the mounting rail and thereby fixed the hammer head screw immovably to the mounting rail.

The known hammer head screw has the disadvantage that its spring element is a geometrically complicated molded plastic injection-molded part, the production and attachment to the hammer head screw is complicated and expensive.

The invention has the object of providing a hammer head screw of the type mentioned in such a way that it is easier and inexpensive to produce.

This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. The hammer head screw according to the invention has a rubber-elastic tension spring element, which uses the clamping element to the screw head. The provisional clamping of the hammer head screw on the mounting rail is done with the clamping element, which is pulled by the tension spring element to the screw head and presses against the mounting rail from the outside. A rubber ring is available as a mass-produced very reasonably priced. Another advantage is that the tension spring element can easily install the screw head spanning the clamping element, which facilitates the assembly of the individual parts of the hammer head screw according to the invention.

The clamping element is a perforated disc. This may have recesses, for example, short slots or recesses directed towards the center of the disk of its peripheral edge for engagement of the tension spring element. Also, the elastic band in embodiments of the invention, slits, eyes, or teardrop-shaped thickenings for attachment to the clamping element or the screw head have.

In a preferred embodiment, the hammer head screw according to the invention has a cooperating with the mounting rail device for limiting the rotation angle. The rotation angle limitation is effected in embodiments of the invention in that the screw head is longer than an inner width of the mounting rail. The hammer head screw can be turned only after insertion of its screw head until its screw head abuts against inner sides of the walls of the mounting rail. In this position, he engages behind the undercuts of the mounting rail side of her slot. As a result, an intended angular orientation of the screw head of the hammer head screw with respect to the fastening rail and thus a sufficiently large rear grip of the hammer head screw according to the invention is ensured. For the rotation angle limiting suitable screw head shapes are parallelograms or diamonds or rectangles in which two diametrically opposite edges are beveled or rounded, so that the diagonal of the screw head in the direction of the beveled or rounded corners shorter than the inner width of the mounting rail. Also, a rotation angle limit by a corresponding cross-sectional configuration of the screw shaft below the screw head, which cooperates with the slot of the mounting rail is possible.

In a further embodiment, the screw head on its underside have a transverse to its longitudinal direction extending paragraph whose width is slightly smaller than the inside width of the slot of the mounting rail. After inserting the hammer head screw into the mounting rail and turning the screw head by 90 °, the arranged on the underside of the screw head paragraph snaps into the slot of the mounting rail. Thus, the screw head is fixed in this position against rotation in both directions, so that a tightening and loosening of the nut is possible even with heavy thread friction without difficulty. After loosening the nut of the screw head is lifted so far that the paragraph disengages from the slot.

The hammerhead screw 10 according to the invention, shown in FIG. 2, is provided for fastening, for example, to an attachment rail 12, as shown in FIG. The mounting rail 12 has a rectangular tube profile, it has a longitudinally continuous slot 14 in one of its broad sides. The mounting rail 12 is attached to a ceiling or wall of a building (not shown). By means of the hammer head screw 10 described below, for example, pipes or air ducts for sanitary, heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems can be attached to the mounting rail 12.

The screw head 16 of the hammer head screw 10 shown in Figure 2 has the shape of a parallelogram with different side lengths. Instead of two corners, the screw head 16 on its shorter diagonal curves 18 (see Figure 3). The screw head 16 is slightly narrower than the slot 14 of the mounting rail 12, its shorter diagonal is longer than the width of the slot 14, but shorter than an inner width of the mounting rail 12. A longer diagonal of the screw head 16 is slightly longer than the inner width of the mounting rail 12th ,

Ein Durchmesser der Lochscheibe 20 ist größer als die Breite des Schlitzes 14 der Befestigungsschiene 12.Below the screw head 16, a perforated disc 20 is pushed as a clamping element on a screw shaft 22 of the hammer head screw 10. The perforated disc 20 is provided with four short slots 24 which are mounted in pairs with some distance from each other and the other two slots 24 opposite to the circumference of the perforated disc 20. Through these slots 24 through a rubber ring 26 is tensioned as a tension spring element on the screw head 16. The rubber ring 26 pulls the perforated disc 20 against the screw head 16. A diameter of the perforated disc 20 is greater than the width of the slot 14 of the mounting rail 12th

Below the perforated disc 20, a nut 28 is screwed at a distance from the perforated disc 20 on the screw shaft 22. To protect against unintentional rotation of the nut 28, this is secured with a not visible in the drawing drops locking lacquer in a conventional manner. Tightening the nut 28 is not hindered.

To attach a conduit can be attached to the screw head 16 facing away from the free end of the screw shaft a pipe clamp (not shown).

The attachment of the hammer head screw 10 according to the invention on the mounting rail 12 is done as follows: The hammer head screw 10 is aligned with its screw head 16 in the longitudinal direction of the slot 14 through the slot 14 inserted into the interior of the mounting rail 12. In this case, the perforated disc 20 comes to an outside of the mounting rail 12 to the plant, it is lifted against the force of the rubber ring 26 from the screw head 16. By a clockwise rotation of about 90 °, the hammer head screw 10 is locked in the mounting rail 12, ends of the screw head 16 engage behind the rectangular tube profile of the mounting rail 12 laterally of the slot 14. The rubber ring 26 presses on the outside of the mounting rail 12 adjacent hole plate 20, the hammer head screw 10 in the axial direction of the mounting rail 12 and thereby the screw head 16 in abutment with the inside of the mounting rail 12. The hammer head bolt 10 is on clamped this way with little force on the mounting rail 12 and thereby secured against accidental falling out or moving. For positioning, the hammer head screw 10 can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the fastening rail 12 against the clamping force applied by the rubber ring 26. The clamping force of the rubber ring 26 is sufficient to adhere the screw at vertically mounted mounting rail 12 to this and to secure a rectangular, ie horizontal projection of the hammer head screw 10. For final attachment, the hammer head screw 10 is tightened by tightening the nut 28 with the mounting rail 12.

The parallelogram-shaped screw head 16, the longer diagonal is longer than an inner width of the fastening rail 12, limits the angle of rotation of the hammer head screw 10, since the longer diagonal located corners of the screw head 16 abut the inner sides of the mounting rail 12, when the screw head 16 approximately transversely to Fixing rail 12 has been rotated standing. After tightening the nut 28, the rubber ring 26 has no function, so that aging of the rubber ring 26 does not affect the function of the hammer head screw 10.

To avoid repetition, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 2 are used for the same components for FIGS. 3 and 4. In this respect, reference is made to the above statements.

The perforated disc 20 of the hammer head screw 10 according to the invention shown in Figure 3 has four indentations 30 of its peripheral edge, which serve for attaching the screw head 16 spanning rubber ring 26.

Damit ergibt sich eine Verdrehsicherung für die Hammerkopfschraube 10, die sowohl beim Aufdrehen als auch Lösen der Mutter 28 wirksam wird.FIG. 4 shows an embodiment of the hammer head screw 10, in which the underside of the screw head 16 has a shoulder 48 extending transversely to its longitudinal direction. The width of the shoulder 48 is slightly less than the inside width of the slot 14 of the mounting rail 12, so that after insertion of the hammer head screw 10 into the mounting rail 12 and a rotation of the screw head 16 by 90 ° of the shoulder 48 into the slot 14 snaps. This results in an anti-rotation device for the hammer head screw 10, both when untwisting as well as releasing the nut 28 becomes effective.
