Hand-held machine tool, in particular drilling hammer or impact drilling machine, having a machine housing (11), having a handle (13) which is connected to the machine housing (11), and having a shell element (25) which covers a rear part (24) of the handle (13) and serves as a pressing surface for the operator, the shell element (25) being connected at at least two fastening points (30, 31) to the handle (13) and the machine housing (11), respectively, a first fastening point (30) being provided which ensures a virtually clearance-free connection between the handle (13) and shell element (25) in the pressing direction (21), characterized in that a second fastening point (31) is provided which permits a movement clearance between the handle (13) and shell element (25) in the pressing direction (21), and in that at least one damping element (40) is inserted between the handle (13) and shell element (25), which damping element pushes the shell element (25) away in the direction of a stop (38) on the handle (13) with the handle (13) being pretensioned.
  2. Hand-held machine tool according to Claim 1, characterized in that the shell element (25) is composed of a hard basic body (26) and a soft covering (27) covering the pressing surface.
  3. Hand-held machine tool according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the shell element (25) is arranged in an optionally removable manner on a wall (24) on the rear part of the machine housing (11).
  4. Hand-held machine tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first fastening point (30) is formed by a tongue (32) which protrudes on the shell element (25) and on which a latching hook (33) is formed which grips behind a projection (34) on the handle (13) in the installed position of the shell element (25).
  5. Hand-held machine tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second fastening point (31) is formed by a tab (36) which protrudes on the shell element (25) and engages in a receiving opening (37) in the machine housing (11).
  6. Hand-held machine tool according to Claim 5, characterized in that the receiving opening (37) and the tab (36) are arranged transversely to the pressing direction, the receiving opening (37) being wider in the pressing direction than the tab (36).
  7. Hand-held machine tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a supporting surface (41) is formed on the shell element (25), which supporting surface is supported on the damping element (40).
  8. Hand-held machine tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the machine housing (11) is formed from two housing shells divided in the longitudinal direction of the hand-held machine tool (10), and when the housing shells are opened the damping element (40) can be inserted into a recess (43) in the machine housing (11).
  9. Hand-held machine tool according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shell element (25) has at least one reinforcing rib (45).
