Description

The present invention relates to a tool magazine or container for small enough to be easily put in a pocket clothing.

When you want to carry with you, in a pocket, a series tools, there are generally two kinds of means; first of all we may have a container, generally cylindrical in shape, one of which end form cover and where the different tools are contained inside of a hollow part of said cylinder. Generally, one nozzle provided on the other end of the container makes it possible to adapt each tool, the container then functioning as the handle of the tool in service. Such a device has several drawbacks, including the fact that the tools are placed in bulk inside the container, having to completely empty the container for choosing a specific tool; similarly it is generally tools must be replaced in a specified order inside the container if you want everyone to take their place. Such a device does not allow not easily see if a tool is missing.

Another way is to bring the different tools together by one of their ends and to mount them between two lateral ribs to form a penknife or "Swiss knife" type device. In this case, some utensils, for example a toothpick or tweezers, can be threaded into a adapted accommodation. When the number of utensils is large, the width of the knife becomes prohibitive. In addition, the user has no choice of tools for its own needs, the various utensils being assembled in the factory by the knife maker.

A first object of the invention is to propose a tool store which does not not meeting the drawbacks of known devices, or allowing easy access to a specific tool to be able to take it out or put it away, as well as being able to easily control the presence of all the tools, while remaining in dimensions allowing to put it in pocket.

A second object of the invention is to provide a tool store flexible according to user needs, giving the user the choice tools to include in the device.

These different goals are achieved by a tool store that meets to the claims.

  • A preferred embodiment comprising two variants of the means for opening a tool magazine according to the invention is described below, with reference to the appended drawing comprising the figures where:
  • FIGS. 1A, 1B and 1C represent an embodiment of a tool magazine in the closed state, respectively according to a view from a first end, along a lateral face and along a second end,
  • FIG. 2A represents a side view of the same store opened according to a first variant of the opening means,
  • FIG. 2B represents a sampling of tools visible in the previous figure,
  • FIG. 3 represents the same open store seen from above,
  • FIG. 4A represents a side view of a store opened according to a second variant of the opening means, and
  • FIG. 4B represents another sampling of tools visible in the preceding figure.
As can be seen in the figures, the tool magazine 1 according to the invention has the general form of a "swiss army knife". From Figures 1A and 1C, it can be seen that its dimensions, in particular its width, remain quite small. The tool magazine 1 therefore consists of a body 10 comprising two ribs side 11 and 12 held together in a known manner and leaving a spacing between them. Next to a tool storage utensil 2 which will be described below, the magazine 1 may also include one or more other utensils or blades, for example a knife blade 13 or a punch 14, these other tools being mounted and usable in a known manner.

The tool magazine 1 includes a storage utensil, or blade 2, arranged in the space between the two lateral ribs 11 and 12 and which can be extracted, respectively introduced into the body 10 in two variants. According to a first variant, represented by the double arrow of the 2A, a first end of the storage utensil 2 is mounted swivel on a pivot 20, which allows the utensil to be removed respectively to introduce it between the two lateral ribs 11 and 12 of the body 10 in the same way as a usual knife blade. For this purpose, the other end of the storage utensil 2 comprises gripping means 21 (see Figures 1C and 2A) allowing it to be grasped in order to rotate it.

De la même manière que précédemment, des moyens de prise 21 peuvent aider à sortir l'ustensile de stockage 2 du corps 10.According to another variant, represented by the double arrow of the Figure 4A, the utensil 2 is sliding longitudinally between the two ribs side 11 and 12, along slide means not shown on the figures. The storage utensil 2 can then be completely removed from the body 10 and be separated from the latter, or else be retained, by known means, to the body 10. In the same way as previously, gripping means 21 can help remove storage utensil 2 from body 10.

The storage utensil 2 consists in particular of a wall 22 comprising on one or both of its faces a plurality of fixing lugs 23. The fixing studs 23 are preferably grouped so as to be able to insert a plurality of tools 3, by pinching each one between two or three tenons 23. We see for example in Figure 2A that the face shown of the utensil storage 2 includes eighteen tenons 23, arranged in groups of three of so that six tools 3 can be stored parallel to each other. So similar, although not absolutely necessary, the other side of the storage utensil 2 visible in FIG. 4A carries the same number of studs 23 to accept the same number of tools 3. As an example of tools it is possible to store in such a device we have, as we can see at Figures 2B and 4B, a fine file 30, a first slotted screwdriver 31, two hexagon screwdriver 32 and 33, a point 34, a cross screwdriver 35 and two other slotted screwdrivers 36 and 37. It can therefore be seen that all of the tools 3 are independent of tool magazine 1; so they can easily be chosen by the user when buying the store or so chosen, for example for a determined troubleshooting, from a more complete range available to the user.

The tool magazine has been described with a storage utensil 2 fitted on its two faces with fixing means 23; it is obviously also it is possible that only one face is shaped to receive tools. Likewise it is possible to provide more than one storage utensil 2 between the two ribs side 11 and 12, each of the utensils being able to be equipped on one or its two sides.

We notice on the back portion of some of the tools, in particular on the screwdriver 31, a hooking means 310. This portion rear of the tool 31 can be inserted into a housing 15 which can be provided on one end of the body 10 or in a housing 16 which can be provided on a lateral side of the body 10. By snapping on the hooking means 310 in a known device provided for this purpose inside the housing (s) 15,16, it is possible to use the body 10 as a handle for the tool 31.

The same attachment means 310 can also for example adapt to a chuck of a tool actuator such as for example a screwdriver / unscrewer powered by batteries or any source of energy.

Thus, under a low volume, the user has a range tools, which he can adapt to his needs, the tools being easily accessible individually and if necessary, some of which can easily be usable in cooperation with the body of the store as handle or support said tool.
