Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine quantitätsgesteuerte Brennkraftmaschine (2) mit zumindest einem im Ansaugtrakt (1) vorgesehenen Drosselorgan (5) sowie mit einem System (7) zur Einleitung von Zusatzluft in die Ansaugkanäle (6b) der einzelnen Brennkraftmaschinen-Zylinder, wobei ein Steuerorgan (8) zur Beeinflussung der Zusatzluftmenge vorgesehen ist. Die Betätigung des Steuerorganes (8) erfolgt zusammen mit der Betätigung des Drosselorganes (5), wobei ausgehend von einer Schließposition sowohl des Steuerorganes (8) als auch des Drosselorganes (5) bei einer Lasterhöhung zunächst nur das Steuerorgan (8) öffnet und hierdurch das System (7) zur Einleitung von Zusatzluft mit Ansaugluft versorgt, während das Drosselorgan (5) den Ansaugtrakt (1) zur Versorgung der Ansaugkanäle (6b) mit Ansaugluft erst bei einer weiteren Lasterhöhung freigibt. Hierdurch kann das sog. Zusatzluftsystem (7) in seinem wichtigsten Betriebsbereich, nämlich dem Niederlastbereich der Brennkraftmaschine, die größtmögliche Wirkung entfalten. Angegeben sind verschiedene Ausführungsformen des Steuerorganes (8), bspw. als erste Stufe eines Register-Drosselklappenstutzens (10), dessen zweite Stufe das Drosselorgan (5) bildet. The invention relates to a quantity-controlled internal combustion engine (2) with at least one throttle member (5) provided in the intake tract (1) and with a system (7) for introducing additional air into the intake ducts (6b) of the individual internal combustion engine cylinders, a control member (8 ) is provided to influence the additional air volume. The control element (8) is actuated together with the actuation of the throttle element (5), whereby starting from a closed position, both the control element (8) and the throttle element (5) initially only opens the control element (8) when the load is increased, thereby opening the control element (8) System (7) for introducing additional air is supplied with intake air, while the throttle element (5) only releases the intake tract (1) for supplying the intake ducts (6b) with intake air when the load increases again. As a result, the so-called additional air system (7) can have the greatest possible effect in its most important operating area, namely the low-load area of the internal combustion engine. Various embodiments of the control element (8) are indicated, for example as the first stage of a register throttle valve connector (10), the second stage of which forms the throttle element (5).
