Abstract

Der Resonanzkörper (3) des Saiteninstrumentes umschliesst Bauteile (6,8), die bewirken, dass die von den Saiten (4,5) über den Steg (1) auf die Decke (2) des Resonanzkörpers (3) eingeleiteten Tonschwingungen zu gegenläufigen bzw. phasenverschobenen Schwingungen des Bodens (11) führen. Hierdurch wird die durch die schwingende (15) Decke (2) auf die im Resonanzkörper (3) eingeschlossene Luft wirkende Pump- und Saugbewegung durch die Tonschwingungen des Bodens (11) ergänzt. Die hierzu im Resonnanzkörper (3) eingeschlossenen Bauteile bestehen im wesentlichen aus einem unterhalb des Steges (1) an zwei Stellen an der Decke (2) anliegenden Hebel (6), einer diesen seitlich am Resonanzkörper (3) abstützenden Stütze (16) und einem Tragbogen (8). Dadurch, dass der Hebel (6) auf den mittleren Bereich des Tragbogens (8) einwirkt, üben seine im Eckbereich zwischen dem Boden (11) und der Zarge (10) anliegenden Enden (7) eine Spreizkraft aus, die zur Aufwärtsbewegung des gewölbten Bodens (11) führt. Somit erhält das Instrument einen volleren und reicheren Klang.
