Abstract

A suction box (28) assembly, at the press section (10) of a machine for the prodn. of a paper and/or cardboard web, has at least one underpressure side (S0) when in position, along the associated press blanket (20). The underpressure along the press blanket is generated by blowing air out of the suction box (28).
