Abstract

The circuit breaker has a ceramic chamber filled with a dielectric gas and housing a fix module which includes a main contact (2) and an arc contact (3). A mobile module present in the same chamber includes a metal tube (5) continued with an arc contact (5A). A second tube (6), coaxial with the first one, is terminated with a permanent contact (7). The chamber bottom (17) is extended by a cylinder (20) coupled to a metal flange (21) closing the extremity of the chamber. An impact reducing piston (26), guided by a cylinder (27), slides inside the chamber.
