Abstract

An electric hairdrier which operates by drawing warm air over the scalp i.e. in the reverse direction to a conventional blower type drier has a hollow tube (1) and a suction fan (2) in a hinged base section with snap fastener (4) containing a filter (3). The opposite end of the tube (1) has the holes/slots (5) and radial spacer ribs (6) providing a support for the heater coils (7) enclosed by the grid (9) end protective cap (8). When in operation the airflow shown by the arrows dries the hair and removes any residue from e.g. dry shampoo or other material.

Diese Heizeinheit ist mit einer Schutz-, bezw. Luftleitkappe(8) umgeben, welche nach hinten offen (Schutzgitter)(9) ist, und nach vorne mit dem Rohr(1) abschließt, so daß nur die Rohröffnung frei bleibt.
Da die Luft nach hinten weggesaugt wird, tritt nun Luft über die vordere Rohröffnung und die Lüftungsschlitze(5) in das Rohr(1) ein. Die Luft, die über die Lüftungsschlitze(5) eingesogen wird, wird, bedingt durch die Schutzkappe(8), über die Heizdrähte(7) geführt und erwärmt sich dort.
Die Haare werden nun durch den Luftsog in die vordere Rohröffnung hineingezogen und dort mit Warmluft getrocknet.
Mit einem schon seit längerem auf dem Markt befindlichem Trockenshampoo ließe sich ein Reinigungssystem entwickeln, welches mit einer Naßwäsche konkurieren könnte.
Desweiteren kann man für kommerzielle Zwecke einen externe Sauger verwenden, wobei dann der Saug/Heizkopf über einen Schlauch/Kabel mit dem Sauger verbunden ist.This is achieved by installing a fan (2) on an elongated hollow body (1) (pipe) that sucks the air out of the pipe.
