die Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale

zwei versetzten Koppelelementen modular aufgeteilt, wodurch er
in verschiedenen, d.h. versetzten Positionen auf die Grundeinheit
aufzubauen ist. Der Fernantrieb ist in einfacher Weise an
den Schutzschalter in der Art anbaubar, daß entweder Grundeinheit
und Schutzschalter unmittelbar oder mittelbar unter Zwischenbau
wenigstens eines weiteren Moduls, beispielsweise eines
Unterspannungsauslösers, verbunden sind. Der Aufsatz überdeckt
dabei im wesentlichen die Frontseite des Schutzschalters und

Nach Fig. 1 besteht die Niederspannungs-Schutzschalter-Einheit
aus mehreren Modulen, und zwar aus einem Schutzschalter 2,
einem Fernantrieb 4 und einem als Hilfsschalter ausgeführten
weiteren Modul 10. Der Fernantrieb 4 besteht aus einer seitlich
mit dem Schutzschalter 2 verbundenen Grundeinheit 6 und aus
einem vorderseitig mit der Grundeinheit 6 verbundenen sowie den
Schutzschalter 2 überdeckenden Aufsatz 8. Jenseits des Schutzschalters
2 ist mit der Grundeinheit 6 das weitere Modul 10
seitlich verbindbar. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen ist der
Schutzschalter 2 zusätzlich über einen vor den Aufsatz 8
gesetzten Betätigungsknebel 14 bedienbar. Die Niederspannungs-Schutzschalter-Einheit
nach Fig. 2 unterscheidet sich von
derjenigen nach Fig. 1 dadurch, daß seitlich zwischen der
Grundeinheit 6 und dem Schutzschalter 2 ein weiteres, beispielsweise
als Unterspannungsauslöser ausgebildetes Modul 12
angeordnet ist. Der Fernantrieb 4 läßt sich demnach für diesen
beiden in Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 dargestellten Fälle verwenden. Dazu
ist der Aufsatz 8 in zwei verschiedenen Positionen, die sich
um die Baubreite B des weiteren Moduls 12 gegeneinander unterscheiden,

6 und anderseits über Stößel 28, 30 mit einer Antriebswelle 32
des Betätigungsmechanismus des Schutzschalters verbunden sind.
Dazu reicht der Schieber 26 mit einen Mitnehmer 34 aus der
Grundeinheit 6 in den Aufsatz 8 hinein und steht wahlweise mit
einem der als Eingriffsöffnungen ausgestalteten zwei Koppelelemente
36, 38 in Verbindung. Die gleichartigen Koppelelemente
36, 38 sind wiederum um den Abstand B gegeneinander versetzt
angeordnet, wodurch der Aufsatz 8 wahlweise in den zwei, um den
Abstand B versetzten Positionen auf der Grundeinheit 6 montierbar
ist, indem der Mitnehmer 34 entweder in das erste oder in
das zweite Koppelelement 36 bzw. 38 eingreift. Die Antriebsmittel
bestehen aus einem die Koppelelemente 36, 38 enthaltenden
Träger 40, einem in diesem um eine Schwenkachse 50 gelagerten
Umschalthebel 42 sowie den von diesem in bekannter Weise
wechselweise antreibbaren und endseitig mit Zahnstangen 44 bzw.
46 versehenen Stößeln 28 und 30, die mit einem drehfest mit der
Antriebswelle 32 verbundenen Ritzel 48 kämmen. Die Antriebswelle
