2. Beschreibung des allgemeinen Stands der Technik2. Description of the general state of the art

Hand tools play a role in a civilized society, and wrenches have been the most important in the field of hand tools since the invention of bolts and nuts. So far, a wide variety of wrenches have been available, such as combination wrenches, combination wrenches, ring spanners, ratchet wrenches, etc. Figure 6 of the drawings illustrates a ratchet wrench which includes a handle 40 and a switch button 41 mounted in a head portion 42 thereof, which is used for this purpose , during work to change a reversible direction of a ratchet mounted in the head portion 42. A disadvantage of the ratchet wrench is that a user must hold the ratchet wrench with one hand and toggle the switch knob 41 when changing the reversible direction. Another disadvantage of the socket ratchet wrench is that it has a relatively large end to accommodate complex elements therein and therefore cannot be used in a limited space because additional socket wrench inserts have to be used.

A professional mechanic would use a combination wrench (see Figure 7 of the drawings), combination wrench, or combination wrench to tighten or loosen nuts in a limited space. A common disadvantage of these wrenches, however, is that the wrench must be removed from the nut and rotated back into engagement with the nut after it has rotated a small angle to rotate a further small angle. This process continues until the nut is tightened or loosened, which is very inconvenient, especially in a limited space.

In order to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages, a reversible ring spanner has been proposed, such a spanner comprising a ratchet gear, which is mounted in an inner boundary surface of the head part thereof, and a cavity defined in a web area for receiving a spring and a pawl. The pawl is preloaded by the spring to latch into and out of the ratchet gear to ensure the desired reversing function. However, it has been shown that since the pawl only engages with one tooth of the ratchet gear, the torque achieved is relatively low, and the pawl can be damaged if a relatively large force is applied. In addition, it is very difficult to provide a cavity in the land area of the wrench with a thickness of one (1) centimeter. Furthermore, the cavity must be inclined to ensure proper engagement between the ratchet and the pawl, which further increases the difficulty of providing the cavity because the allowable error is extremely small. Though the problem can be solved by increasing the thickness of the wrench head, however, the enlarged head like that of the ratchet wrench would not allow the wrench to be handled in a limited space.

There is therefore a long and unfulfilled need for an improved ratchet-type ring wrench to alleviate and / or eliminate the above problems.

When assembling, the stop element 15 is inserted into one side of the cavity 13, the projections 151 and 152 of the first end of the stop element 15 being firmly supported against the wall delimiting the cavity 13 and the anchor 155 being received in the recess 131. The arcuate toothed element 14 is then inserted into the other side of the cavity 13, a second side of which is supported against the wall delimiting the cavity 13 and the stub-shaped extension 141 thereof is opposite the stem 156 of the stop element 15. A spring 16 is mounted between the stop member 15 and the arcuate toothed member 14 by attaching a first end thereof to the stub lug 141 and a second end thereof to the stem 156, as shown in FIG. 3. The ratchet gear 20 is then inserted into the receiving space 12 of the head part 10, the teeth 21 of which engage with the teeth 142 on the first side of the toothed element 14.

When working, there is one to be loosened or put on Nut (not shown) engages with ratchet 20 in a conventional manner and the user can operate the ring spanner on handle 11 such that both head 10 and nut are forced to rotate in a first direction, e.g. Clockwise. When the head portion 10 travels through a certain angle, the toothed member 14 is moved to the position shown in Fig. 4 (since the ratchet gear 20 is engaged with the toothed member 14), and the spring 16 is consequently compressed. If it is necessary to move the ring spanner back to its initial position, the user need not raise the ring spanner to release it from the nut and then lower the ring spanner to re-engage it with the nut. Instead, the user can move the ring spanner directly in an opposite direction, for example counterclockwise, since it offers a reversing function. This is because the spring force provided by the spring 16 pushes the toothed element 14 back to its initial position shown in Fig. 3, while the structures of the teeth 142 of the toothed element and the teeth 21 of the ratchet gear 20 make such rotation allow opposite direction.

If a foreign object penetrates the cavity 13 of the head part, which can often occur during a repair, the toothed element 14, since it is hindered by the foreign object, may not immediately return to its initial position when the above-mentioned backward movement is required. This is the case because the toothed element 14 cannot come loose from the ratchet gear 20. Under these conditions, the toothed element 14 is entrained by the ratchet gear 20 so that it moves further to the right (viewed from the direction of FIG. 4) and thus meets the wings 153 and 154 of the stop element 15, which consequently results in one Force leads to the stop element 15. The force results in a normal force and a longitudinal force which cause the toothed element 14 to slide a certain distance along the side edges 1531 and 1541 of the wings 153 and 154 (see the arrow in FIG. 5) and thus away from the ratchet gear 20 triggers as shown in Fig. 5. In other words, the wings 153 and 143 serve as a guide rail for guiding downward movements of the toothed element 14, whereby the toothed element 14 is thereby released from the ratchet gear 20. The spring force provided by the spring 16 is now able to push the toothed element 14 back into its initial position shown in FIG. 3. As a result, the ratchet-type ring spanner can function as usual even when foreign objects enter. The foreign bodies can be removed at regular intervals or immediately after the repair work has been completed.
