Such products must be well protected during the handling at manufacturers, warehouses, retailers and customers and during transportation between them. It is thus common that individual objects are put into packagings made from corrugated cardboard and special inlays are used to obtain protection of the edges. Folded or rolled corrugated cardboard or other suitable material is used for this protection.

It is a characteristic of the packaging that the long sides 6, 7 are not at right angles to the top and bottom of the packaging but are positioned at an angle thereto so that a cross-section of the packaging is an equally sided trapezoid as shown in figure 2. This means that along each of the long sides the bottom 3 is a distance "a" wider than the overall width of the top. The triangular space which is formed along the sides is left empty. In order to obtain both a corresponding protection against blows and a firm shape of the packaging the gable parts are made in a special way.

Claims (2)

  1. Emballage pour un objet plat, tel que des tablettes, des portes et analogues, ayant la fonction de protéger l'objet enfermé vis-à-vis de coups et d'endommagements, dans lequel une section transversale de l'emballage est un trapèze à côtés symétriques, caractérisé en ce que l'emballage est en carton ondulé dont les ondulations sont orientées suivant la direction de la longueur de l'emballage, la section transversale trapézoïdale est à angle droit avec la direction de la longueur de l'emballage et les côtés courts de l'emballage sont rétractés à l'intérieur des limites extérieures de l'emballage.
  2. Ebauche pour former un emballage suivant la revendication 1, l'ébauche comportant une partie (3) formant fond, des parties (6, 7) formant côtés longs, une ou plusieurs parties (4, 5) formant recouvrement destinées à former le dessus de l'emballage et des parties formant pignon, chacune des parties formant pignon comportant une surface (9) latérale ayant un bord (13, 14) à angle destiné à supporter l'une des parties (6, 7) formant côtés longs, caractérisé en ce que l'ébauche est en carton ondulé dont les ondulations sont orientées dans le sens de la longueur de la partie formant fond, les côtés courts de la partie formant fond sont plus larges que la largeur globale desdites une ou plusieurs parties formant recouvrement et chacune des parties formant pignon comporte en outre une zone (8) intérieure adjacente au côté court de la partie formant fond destinée à être repliée sur la partie formant fond et à y reposer et une zone (10) extérieure destinée à reposer contre la ou les partie(s) (4, 5) formant recouvrement.
