In den bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform kreiszylinderförmigen Rand 4 sind Symbole 5, beispielsweise Buchstaben eingebracht, und zwar durch Einbrennen oder Einschmelzen mit Hilfe eines Laserstrahls 6. Dieser wird in einer Laserkanone oder Laseranordnung 7 erzeugt, und zwar als getakteter bzw. periodisch unterbrochener Strahl. Entsprechend dem jeweils gewünschten Symbol 5 wird dieser Laserstrahl durch eine Ablenkeinrichtung der Laseranordnung 7 abgelenkt, wie dies in der Figur 3 mit dem Doppelpfeil C angedeutet ist. Gleichzeitig erfolgt eine Drehbewegung des jeweiligen Knopfes 1, der hierfür in eine Drehhalterung 8 eingespannt ist. Die eingebrannten Symbole 5 bzw. deren Linienführung bilden im Rand 4 Vertiefungen. Gleichzeitig ergibt sich eine Verfärbung des verwendeten Kunststoffmaterials an der Linienführung der Symbole 5, so daß diese optisch gut sichtbar sind.In the circular-
Bei der vorstehenden Beschreibung wurde davon ausgegangen, daß der Knopf 1 im wesentlichen kreisscheibenförmig ausgeführt ist.
