Hierdurch ergibt sich eine geschlossene und sogar in sich steife Baueinheit der Abdeckvorrichtung und es werden Überlappungen und Anpassungsprobleme bei der Montage der Abdeckvorrichtungen vermieden. Durch das formschlüssige Verbinden des oberen Abdeckelements mit den entsprechenden seitlichen Abdeckelementen wird ein Verletzungsrisiko an den scharfkantigen Enden der Abdeckbleche vermieden, da diese nun nicht mehr hervorstehend um die an dem Heizkörper hantierende Person zu verletzen. Dafür sind Verbindungselemente vorgesehen, die das obere Abdeckelement und die seitlichen Abdeckelemente derart verbinden, daß die scharfkantigen Enden der jeweiligen Abdeckbleche verborgen bleiben. Diese Verbindungselemente sind in das obere Abdeckelement und in die seitlichen Abdeckelemente jeweils einsteckbar. Zu diesem Zwecke weisen die Verbindungselemente zueinander beispielsweise rechtwinkelig angeordnete Kupplungsteile auf, die in die Abdeckelemente einsteckbar sind und diese fest an den Verbindungselementen arretieren. Dabei weist das Verbindungselement Eckteile auf, die derart mit den Abdeckelementen formschlüssig abschließen, daß die Ebenen der Außenflächen der betreffenden Abdeckelemente fortgesetzt werden und damit die scharfkantigen Enden der entsprechenden Blenden derart an den Eckteilen anstoßen, daß die scharfkantigen Enden nicht mehr abstehen.The invention is characterized in claim 1 and further improvements are claimed in subclaims.
