Abstract

The burner arrangement consists of single burners distributed over the cross section of the current. The cross-section of the inlet pipe (7) is flush with the outlet cross-section of the outlet pipe (8). The heat exchanger (2) is attached to the inlet and outlet pipes, outside the cube-shaped housing (1). The housing is divided into a first part (3) containing the single burners (11) and fitted with the inlet pipe, and into a second part (4) attached to the first housing part and fitted with the outlet pipe. Catalytic converters (17) are positioned in the current's flow direction after the single burners and extend over the current's cross-section.
