Abstract

The mixer pipe conveys the mixture of gas and air to the combustion chamber (3). The gas flow is regulated by a control. A fan introduces the air. The burner plate (1) made of fibrous material is joined to the combustion chamber housing not only along the edges. But in the middle and at points, lines and in circles. At most 50% of the total surface of the burner plate is joined to the housing. The burner plate is joined indirectly to the housing by means of bridging material made of ceramic, fibre ceramic, glass or metal, by sticking at least one contact surface between the burner plate, material and housing.
