Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zum Behandeln von energetisch verwertbaren Reststoffen, insbesondere Shredder-Leichtmüll, die verkleinert und klassiert in Bunkern gelagert (11,12) werden. Hierbei wird

  • a) der Reststoff von den Bunkern (11,12) portionsweise einem Metallschmelzofen, insbesondere einem Elektrolichtbogenofen (40) zum Schmelzen von Stahl, zugeführt und in einem Vorratstrog (21) bevorratet,
  • b) nach vorgegebener Zeit wird der Reststoff portionsweise in eine gasdicht verschließbare Schleuse (31) eingebracht,
  • c) nach Verschließen der Schleuse (31) wird der Reststoff mit einem sauerstoffhaltigen Gas, dessen Druck höher ist als der des aktuellen Druckes am Ofenkopf (49) des Metallschmelzofens (40), beaufschlagt,
  • d) nach Erreichen eines vorgebbaren Druckes in der Schleuse (31) und nach Öffnen eines dem Ofengefäßboden (42) zugewandten Schleusenaustrittes (33) wird der Reststoff pneumatisch in den Ofenraum ausgefördert und
  • e) in die sich im Bodenbereich des Metallschmelzofens befindliche Metallschmelze (S) eingetaucht.
