Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum vorübergehenden Führen aufeinanderfolgender Bogen (1) entlang einer von einander gegenüberliegenden Seitenkanten eines jeweiligen der Bogen (1) aufgespannten Führungsfläche mittels eines betriebsmäßig umlaufenden Führungselements (2, 2', 2'') mit wenigstens einer Saugöffnung (6, 6') mit einem mittels eines jeweiligen Bogens (1) vorübergehend überdeckbaren Mündungsquerschnitt und unter einer auf einen jeweiligen der Bogen ausgeübten Sogwirkung eines periodisch in der wenigstens einen Saugöffnung (6, 6') anstehenden Unterdrucks. Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist gemäß der Erfindung so ausgestaltet, daß sie bei hohen Bogengeschwindigkeiten gute Führungseigenschaft aufweist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß der Mündungsquerschnitt der wenigstens einen Saugöffnung (6, 6') in einer am Führungselement (2, 2', 2'') ausgebildeten, zumindest im wesentlichen in Umlaufrichtung des Führungselements (2, 2', 2'') orientierten Nut (8, 8', Einkerbung 10) liegt.

The invention relates to a device for temporarily guiding successive sheets (1) along a guide surface spanned by opposite side edges of a respective one of the sheets (1) by means of an operationally rotating guide element (2, 2 ', 2'') with at least one suction opening (6, 6 ') with an orifice cross section which can be temporarily covered by means of a respective bend (1) and under a suction effect exerted on a respective one of the bends by a vacuum which is periodically present in the at least one suction opening (6, 6'). Such a device is designed according to the invention so that it has good guiding properties at high sheet speeds. This is achieved in that the mouth cross section of the at least one suction opening (6, 6 ') in an at least substantially in the circumferential direction of the guide element (2, 2', 2 '') formed on the guide element (2, 2 ', 2'') ) oriented groove (8, 8 ', notch 10).
