Abstract

The compressor has a housing (1) formed in 2 housing halves (2,3), provided with a number of fixing points (10) spaced around its periphery and secured to the electric drive motor (4) at one end face. The fixing points are provided adjacent the opposite end face of the housing and project beyond the plane of this end face. The fixing points are each pref. provided by tubular sleeve, with a projecting stop shoulder within its internal hollow space, for an inserted fixing element, at least the housing half (2) on the opposite side to the drive motor provided with the fixing points.

Der bekannte Verdichter kann aufgrund der am Außenumfang seines Gehäuses vorgesehenen Befestigungsstellen nur mit gegenüber der Aufstellfläche waagerechter Achse aufgestellt werden. Es gibt jedoch häufig auch Anwendungsfälle, die eine Aufstellung des Verdichters mit gegenüber der Aufstellfläche senkrechter Achse erfordern.Such a side channel compressor is known from DE-U-77 10 288. Gemäß einer vorteilhaften Weiterbildung der Erfindung sind zumindest am Außenumfang der dem Antriebsmotor abgewandten Gehäusehälfte als Befestigungsstellen rohrförmige Füße vorgesehen, die in ihrem Hohlraum eine radial vorspringende Anschlagschulter für ein Befestigungselement aufweisen. Durch die Anordnung der Befestigungsstellen am Außenumfang ist einerseits eine gute Zugänglichkeit dieser Stellen gegeben, so daß hierdurch das Befestigen des Verdichters am Aufstellort sehr erleichtert wird. Andererseits erfolgt die Krafteinleitung in die Befestigungsstellen auf relativ kurzem Wege über die Außenbereiche der Gehäusehälften, so daß insbesondere der Nabenbereich von Belastungen freigehalten wird, die zu einer Beeinträchtigung der in diesem Bereich bei einem Seitenkanalverdichter bestehenden engen Spalte führen könnten.
