Description

Spiral staircases of various types are known. For example, a spiral staircase is known from US-A-1,446,454, in which the stone steps lie on steel tubs or steel brackets and the steel tubs or steel brackets are connected to the spindle. The manufacture of such a spiral staircase with steel tubs or steel brackets is expensive because a separate manufacture of steel tubs and brackets is required. The same also applies to spiral staircases with a steel stringer on the outer radius and often also on the inner radius of the spiral staircases, the steel trays being welded to the inside and outside of the steel strings. These constructions require a large amount of space and are also correspondingly expensive due to complex welding work. Such spiral staircases also always appear extremely bulky.

In addition, a staircase is known from FR-A-23 17442, in which the individual steps are embedded in the wall of the building in a cantilever manner, but the steps are nevertheless connected to one another by bolts. The required load-bearing capacity of the steps is provided by the reinforcing bars in the steps, to which the bolts that connect the individual steps are articulated.

Furthermore, spiral staircases are known in which the step consists of two horizontally divided layers, a reinforcement made of a glass fiber fabric being glued in between the two layers, and the individual steps being supported on one another by means of bolts.

With these spiral staircases, an extremely precise manufacture of the individual steps and a precise assembly of the steps is necessary, since on the one hand no horizontal gap may arise between the individual steps and on the other hand it must be ensured that the last upper step lies directly against the end face of the ceiling recess .

These spiral staircases are limited to an outer diameter of 200 cm. Stairs of this type can also hardly be used outdoors, since there is a risk of frost due to the fact that the two layers of stone loosen in the area of the glass fiber fabric.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a spindle staircase that enables simple manufacture and assembly.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. This means that the reinforcing member, in particular in the form of a rod, extends through the step in its length and is subjected to tension by the tensioning element, the step as such being correspondingly subjected to pressure. When the stair tread is loaded, the pressure on the tread is reduced due to the bending stress of the tread according to the weight standing on the tread.

A spiral staircase constructed in this way can be installed up to an outside diameter of 400 cm indoors and outdoors. Especially when building the stairs outdoors, it makes sense to make the metal parts made of stainless steel and for the steps a weather-resistant material, e.g. B. Granite to choose.

In particular, it is provided that the tensioning element is designed as a sleeve with an outwardly projecting, circumferential collar, the sleeve being connectable to the rod-shaped reinforcing member, and the circumferential collar abutting the front end of the step. The sleeve has a continuous internal thread, the reinforcing member corresponding to the internal thread of the sleeve having an external thread.

By simply screwing the sleeve onto the thread of the rod-shaped reinforcing element, the prestress can be applied to the step.

In particular, it has been found that an increase in the load to be absorbed by the stair step can be achieved if the reinforcing member is arranged in the upper third of the cross section of the stair step. The spiral staircases can then have an outer diameter of up to 400 cm.

According to a further advantageous feature of the invention it is provided that a bolt for receiving the supports of a banister can be inserted into the sleeve from the outside. Since the sleeve has a continuous internal thread, a bolt provided with a corresponding external thread, which receives the support of the banister, can be screwed into this internal thread. The advantage of this is that this increases the width of the use of the stair step and thus the steps can be made narrower. According to the state of the art, it has been the case so far that in the case of finished spiral staircases, the supports of the railing are fastened at the top in the steps, and consequently a part of the width of the steps is lost.

In order to facilitate the assembly of a spiral staircase, it is provided that the spindle has a tab on its circumference, in particular made of steel, the reinforcing member being connectable to this steel tab, for example by welding. The tab itself is through one Screw connection connected to the spindle. Since each step is assigned a tab, assembly is relatively simple insofar as, after the spindle has been set up, only the individual tabs with the steps attached to them have to be attached to the spindle.
The installation of the spindle can be made even easier by the fact that the spindle consists of individual elements which can be plugged together.

  • Fig. 1 zeigt den Ausschnitt einer Spindeltreppe in einer Ansicht;
  • Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt gemäß der Linie II/II aus Fig. 1;
  • Fig. 3 zeigt die Einzelheit "X" in vergrößerter Darstellung.
The invention is explained in more detail below by way of example with reference to the drawings.
  • Fig. 1 shows a section of a spiral staircase in a view;
  • Fig. 2 shows a section along the line II / II of Fig. 1;
  • Fig. 3 shows the detail "X" in an enlarged view.

According to FIG. 1, the spiral staircase, designated overall by 1, consists of the spindle 2 and the individual stair steps 3 arranged on the spindle 2. The spindle 2 is composed of the spindle elements 2a, each spindle element 2a having a pin 2b at one end, which can be accommodated in the other spindle element through an opening 2c which is designed accordingly. That is, the individual spindle elements 2a can be plugged together. Up to an outer diameter of the spindle of 300 cm, the spindle can be made in one piece.

The design and the type of attachment of a stair step 3 to the spindle can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3.

D.h., die Druckbeanspruchung der Stufe steht in unmittelbarem Zusammenhang mit der Zugbeanspruchung des stangenförmigen Bewehrungsgliedes 4.The stair step 3 has two rod-shaped reinforcement members 4 made of steel which project horizontally through the stair step and which are welded to the bracket 5 at the end on the spindle side are. The holes 3a for receiving the rod-shaped reinforcement members 4 are chosen larger in diameter than the diameter of a rod-shaped reinforcement member 4, so that there is a cavity 3b between the reinforcement member 4 and bore 3a, which can be filled with mortar 6. So that stage 3 is now subjected to pressure, the sleeve designated 7 is screwed onto the rod-shaped reinforcing member 4. For this purpose, the sleeve 7 has an internal thread 7a and, corresponding to this, the rod-shaped reinforcement member 4 has an external thread 4a. The sleeve 7 also has an outwardly projecting circumferential collar 7b, which is supported on the end face 3c of the step 3 after screwing onto the rod-shaped reinforcing member 4. Depending on the force with which the sleeve 7 is screwed onto the rod-shaped reinforcing member 4, the pressure load acting on the step 3 increases or decreases. That is, the compressive stress on the step is directly related to the tensile stress on the rod-shaped reinforcement element 4.

To fasten the tab 5 to the spindle element 2a of the spindle 2, the spindle element has corresponding elongated holes 2d, through which screw bolts 8 pass, which in turn are connected to the tab 5. The arrangement of elongated holes in the spindle element 2a has the advantage that this makes it easier to align the step with respect to the distance to the respective neighboring step. A long wrench is provided for attaching the screws into the slot, with which the screw is guided and held through the inside of the spindle to the slot.

To fasten the banister, a bolt 9 for receiving the support 10 of the banister can be screwed into the internal thread 7a of the sleeve 7. To fix the bolt 9 in the internal thread 7a of the sleeve 7, the nut 11 is provided, which can be tensioned against the circumferential collar 7b of the sleeve 7.
