Um eine Flexibilität hinsichtlich der Ausrüstung der Maschine und zu somit auch der Ansteuerbarkeit der entsprechenden Komponenten zu erzielen, ist es bekannt, wenigstens einen der Rechner mit nichtflüchtigen, wiederbeschreibbaren Speichereinrichtungen auszurüsten. Dadurch ist gewährleistet, daß gemäß der Maschinenkonfiguration der Steuerungsfunktionen entsprechende Programmteile abgespeichert werden können. Dazu weisen diejenigen Rechner, mit den nichtflüchtigen, wiederbeschreibbaren Speichereinrichtungen Schnittstellen auf, mittels denen Programmteile und zugehörigen die Parameter in die vorzugsweise als E2PROM oder Flash-Memory ausgebildeten Speicher abspeicherbar sind. Nachteilig bei einer derartigen Einrichtung ist aber, daß, wenn mehrere Rechner nichtflüchtige, wiederbeschreibbare Einrichtungen aufweisen, entsprechend viele Schnittstellen zur Einspeicherung der individuellen Programmteile und Parametersätze vorgesehen sein müssen. Dies zeigt sich in der Praxis besonders dann als nachteilig, wenn eine vorhandene Druckmaschine mit weiteren Zusatzeinrichtungen ausgerüstet wird. In einem derartigen Fall ist es dann nötig, daß qualifiziertes Servicepersonal mit entsprechenden Programmiergeräten eine Verbindung zu den einzelnen Rechnern herstellt und die vorgesehenen Programm-Updates vornimmt. Für eine derartige Vorgehensweise ist hochqualifiziertes Servicepersonal insbesondere deswegen nötig, da nur mit genauen Kenntnissen vom Aufbau der Maschinensteuerung die entsprechend modifizierten bzw. neuen Programmteile an den vorgesehenen Stationen bzw. Rechnern einzugeben sind. Auch ist es bei dieser aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Vorgehensweise als nachteilig anzusehen, daß an mehreren Rechnern Schnittstellen vorzusehen sind, vermittels denen über insbesondere als Laptop's ausgebildete Programmiergeräte neue Programmteile bzw. Parameter einspielbar sind. Auch ein solches Steuerungskonzept, welches insbesondere als eine dezentrale Steuerung aufgebaut ist, vermeidet die voranstehend aufgezählten Nachteile nicht. Auch bei einer derartigen, als Baugruppensteuerung bezeichenbare Steuerung ist es zur Umprogrammierung bzw. zur Einspielung modifizierter Programmteile nötig, daß die entsprechenden Programm- bzw. Das die einzelnen Rechner verbindende und als Netzwerk ausgebildete Bus-System dient dabei nicht nur zum Übertragen von Signalen bzw. Nachrichten während des eigentlichen Steuerungsbetriebes, sondern darüber hinaus auch noch als sogenanntes Programm-Übertragungssystem. Durch eine vorzugsweise als PC-Anschluß ausgebildete Schnittstelle ist es somit möglich, mittels einem üblichen Laptop neue Programmteile bzw. ganze Programme in den vorgesehenen Rechnereinheiten abzuspeichern. Die an das als Netzwerk ausgebildete Bus-System angeschlossenen Rechner sind dazu zwischen einem ersten Betriebszustand, in welchem der normale Austausch von Signalen bzw. Dazu weisen die einzelnen Rechner 2.1 - 2.4 nicht explizit dargestellte Interfaceschaltungen bzw. entsprechend programmierte Bus-Controller auf, vermittels denen eine über das Programmiergerät 5 auf dem Bus 1 anliegende Adresse im zugehörigen Rechner erkennbar ist und ferner auch der oder die Rechner 2.1 - 2.4 zwischen den angesprochenen Betriebszuständen umschaltbar sind. Nachdem der entsprechende Rechner 2.1 - 2.4 adressiert und in den programmierbaren Modus umgeschaltet worden ist, erfolgt das Senden der Daten von dem Programmiergerät 5 über den Bus 1. dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Bus (1) eine Schnittstelle aufweist, über welche Programmteile und/oder Parameter an wenigstens einen der Rechner (2.1 - 2.4) adressierbar und in den zugehörigen nichtflüchtigen, wiederbeschreibbaren Speicher (3.1 - 3.4) einschreibbar sind, und daß über die Schnittstelle des Busses (1) die an den Bus (1) angeschlossenen Rechner (2.1 - 2.4) von einem Zustand des normalen Maschinenbetriebes in einen zweiten Zustand umsteuerbar ist, in welchem das Adressieren der Rechner (2.1 - 2.4) sowie das darauffolgende Senden von Programmen und/oder Parameterdaten erfolgt.Device for controlling a printing press, in particular sheetfed offset printing press, consisting of a plurality of computers which are connected to one another via a bus system designed as a network for signal exchange and at least one of the computers has a non-volatile, rewritable memory,
