In den Fig. 1 bis 3 ist mit 1 eine Aufnahmebüchse bezeichnet, in welcher ein Druckstück 2 angeordnet ist, das durch einen Sicherungsring 3 in der Aufnahmebüchse 1 gehalten wird Das Druckstück 2 weist einen zylindrischen Ansatz 4 auf, der in eine Bohrung 5 einer ebenfalls in der Aufnahmebüchse 1 angeordneten Matrize 6 hineinragt. Das Druckstück 2 nimmt während der nachstehend näher beschriebenen Patronierung das Geschoss einer Patrone 7 auf, wobei die Geschossspitze 8 in einer Zentrierung 9 geführt, und ein konischer Teil der Patronenhülse 10 in der Matrize 6 aufgenommen wird. In der Bohrung 5, im Bereich eines Hülsenmundes 11 der Patronenhülse 10 und einer an einem Treibspiegel 12 des Geschosses vorgesehenen Umfangsnut 13, ist ein elastischer Ring 14 angeordnet, der beispielsweise aus Vulkolan vom Typ Adipren besteht. Der Aussendurchmesser des elastischen Ringes 14 entspricht dem Durchmesser der Bohrung 5, während sein Innendurchmesser grösser als der Durchmesser des Hülsenmundes 11 bzw. des Geschosses ist. Die eine Stirnfläche des elastischen Ringes 14 ist der Stirnfläche des zylindrischen Ansatzes 4 zugewandt, während die andere Stirnfläche über eine Dichtscheibe 15 an zwei Schiebern 16 anliegt. Die Schieber 16 werden senkrecht zur Längsachse 17 der Patrone 7 in der Matrize 6 geführt und können mittels an Halterungen 18.1 befestigten, beispielsweise pneumatisch betätigbaren doppeltwirkenden Zylindern 18 verschoben werden. Die Dichtscheibe 15 besteht vorzugsweise aus gehärtetem Federstahl von 0,3 mm Dicke. Der Aussendurchmesser der Dichtscheibe 15 entspricht dem Durchmesser der Bohrung 5, während sein Innendurchmesser um ein geringes Spiel grösser als der Durchmesser des Hülsenmundes 11 bzw. des Geschosses ist. 1 to 3 , 1 denotes a receptacle, in which a pressure piece 2 is arranged, which is held in the receptacle 1 by a locking ring 3. In the bore 5 , in the area of a sleeve mouth 11 of the cartridge case 10 and a circumferential groove 13 provided on a sabot 12 of the projectile, an elastic ring 14 is arranged, which consists, for example, of Vulkolan of the Adipren type. The outer diameter of the elastic ring 14 corresponds to the diameter of the bore 5 , while its inner diameter is larger than the diameter of the sleeve mouth 11 or the projectile. One end face of the elastic ring 14 faces the end face of the cylindrical extension 4 , while the other end face rests against two slides 16 via a sealing washer 15 . The slides 16 are guided perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 17 of the cartridge 7 in the die 6 and can be moved by means of double-acting cylinders 18 fastened to brackets 18.1 , for example pneumatically operated. The sealing washer 15 is preferably made of hardened spring steel 0.3 mm thick. The outer diameter of the sealing disk 15 corresponds to the diameter of the bore 5 , while its inner diameter is a little more than the diameter of the sleeve mouth 11 or the projectile.

Mittels eines beispielsweise hydraulisch betätigbaren nicht weiter dargestellten Einstosszylinders wird der Untersatz 23 mit der Patrone 7 hochgefahren und das Geschoss durch die Matrize 6 in das Druckstück 2 eingeschoben. Sodann werden die Schieber 16 durch die beiden Zylinder 18 nach innen geschoben, bis sie an der Patronenhülse 10 anliegen. Hierbei wird der durch das Spiel zwischen Dichtscheibe 15 und Patronenhülse 10 gegebene Spalt von den Schiebern 16 überbrückt (Fig. 2 und 3). Danach wird die Aufnahmebüchse 1 und mit ihr die Matrize 6 mit den Schiebern 16 mittels eines ebenfalls z.B. hydraulisch betätigbaren, nicht weiter dargestellten Kerbzylinders gegen das feststehende Druckstück 2 und die Druckfeder 20 hochgefahren und der elastische Ring 14 über die Dichtscheibe 15 zusammengedrückt. Hierbei wird der elastische Ring 14 in radialer Richtung nach innen verformt und der Hülsenmund 11 in die Umfangsnut 13 des Treibspiegels 12 gedrückt (Fig. 3). Bei diesem Vorgang schützt die Dichtscheibe 15 den elastischen Ring 14 vor der Bewegung der Schieber 16, wobei die Abnutzung des elastischen Ringes 14 bei der kleinen Bewegung zu den Schiebern 16 hin wegen der abgerundeten Kante 19 der Dichtscheibe 15 sehr gering ist. Nach der Kerbung werden der Kerbzylinder und danach die beiden Zylinder 18 wieder zurückgefahren, so dass die Aufnahmebüchse 1, die Matrize 6 und die beiden Schieber 16 wieder die Ausgangsposition einnehmen. Anschliessend fährt der Einstosszylinder zurück, so dass die gekerbte Patrone 7 vom Untersatz 23 abgenommen und eine neue aufgesetzt werden kann.

Thereafter, the receiving bushing 1 and with it the die 6 with the slides 16 are raised by means of a notch cylinder, which is also, for example, hydraulically actuated, not further shown, against the fixed pressure piece 2 and the compression spring 20 and the elastic ring 14 is pressed together via the sealing disk 15 . Here, the elastic ring 14 is deformed radially inwards and the sleeve mouth 11 is pressed into the circumferential groove 13 of the sabot 12 ( FIG. 3 ). In this process, the sealing disk 15 protects the elastic ring 14 from the movement of the slider 16 , the wear of the elastic ring 14 during the small movement towards the slider 16 being very low because of the rounded edge 19 of the sealing disk 15 . After the notching, the notch cylinder and then the two cylinders 18 are moved back again, so that the receiving bushing 1 , the die 6 and the two slides 16 assume the starting position again. The push-in cylinder then moves back so that the notched cartridge 7 can be removed from the base 23 and a new one can be put on.

Claims (7)

  1. A device for fastening a cartridge case to a projectile, which projectile comprises at least one peripheral groove (13) and to which the cartridge case (10) can be fastened by notch-bonding at the peripheral groove (13), which device comprises
    an elastic ring (14) which is disposed in the region of the case mouth (11) and the peripheral groove (13), and
    comprises means by which the elastic ring can be acted upon axially, so that the elastic ring can be axially shortened and can be radially inwardly deformed in order to press the cartridge case in the region of the case mouth (11) into the peripheral groove (13), wherein
    a thrust piece (2) is provided for receiving the projectile of a cartridge (7), which thrust piece has a cylindrical projection (4) which protrudes into a bore (5) of a plug (6), and wherein
    one end face of the elastic ring (14) faces the end face of the cylindrical projection (4),
    characterised in that
    the elastic ring (14) is disposed in the bore (5) with a radial clearance present in the interior of the ring, and
    the other end face of the elastic ring (14) is seated via a sealing washer (15) on two slides (16) which are guided perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis (17) of the cartridge (7) in the plug (6), wherein
    for the notch-bonding of the cartridge case (10) the plug (6) can be pushed by the slides (16) towards the thrust piece (2) and the elastic ring (14) can at the same time be axially compressed via the sealing washer (15).
  2. A device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the elastic ring (14) consists of Vulkolan of the adiprene type.
  3. A device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the sealing washer (15) consists of spring steel and the edge (19) of the inside diameter of the elastic ring (14) which faces the sealing washer (15) is rounded off.
  4. A device according to claim 3,
    characterised in that
    the sealing washer consists of hardened spring steel with a thickness of 0.3 mm.
  5. A device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the thrust piece (2) and the plug (6) are disposed in a receiver bushing (1) and are displaced, together with the plug (6) and the slides (16), towards the fixed thrust piece (2) when notch-bonding is effected.
  6. A device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the cartridge (7) is secured by a resilient insert (24) and a holder (25) on a base (23) which can move on the longitudinal axis (17) of the cartridge (7).
  7. Use of the device according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the projectile is an undersized projectile and comprises a propulsion piece (12), wherein the at least one peripheral groove (13) is provided on the propulsion piece (12) and the cartridge case (10) can be attached to the propulsion piece (12) of the projectile by notch-bonding in the region of the at least one peripheral groove (13).
