Abstract

The assembly to quench and temper metallic materials, especially to temper tool steel, has a continuous roller furnace as the temper furnace. It has a preheating zone (31) and a zone (32) where the temp. is maintained. Cooling presses (40) are at the outlet of the roller furnace (30) for temp. controlled cooling of the material.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Vergüten von metallischem Gut, insbesondere zum Anlassen von Werkzeugstählen, aufweisend einen Ofen zum Austenitisieren des Gutes, eine Härtepresse für das noch heiße Gut sowie einen Anlaßofen zwecks Einstellung der Härte und des Gefüges des Gutes. Eine derartige Vorrichtung zur Wärmebehandlung ist bekannt: "Wärmebehandlung der Bau- und Werkzeugstähle", 3. Üblicherweise werden lufthärtende Stähle sowie Werkzeugstähle nach dem Härtevorgang wieder angelassen. Die Anlaßtemperatur wird nach gewünschter Endhärte ausgewählt. Das Anlassen dient einerseits dem Einstellen der exakten Härte und des gewünschten Gefüges und andererseits auch als Richtprozeß. Bei bekannten Verfahren werden daher die einzelnen Teile in Stapeln zwischen 10 bis 100 Stück miteinander verspannt und anschließend zwischen drei bis zehn Stunden angelassen.Air-hardening steels and tool steels are usually tempered again after the hardening process. Claims (2)
