Description

The invention relates to a device for storing and automatically dispensing folded or bound, multi-sheet printed products from a stack, in particular newspaper or magazine vending machine, consisting of a housing for receiving the stack of printed products, a coin insertion system and a removal option for a single printed product, whereby the housing has at least one stacking area and at least one drop shaft, in the stacking area of the housing an output unit consisting of at least one friction wheel resting on the uppermost printed product is provided, wherein the top printed product can be pushed off the stack into or into a falling shaft by means of the friction wheel .

Newspaper machines are known from practice, which consist of a housing with a coin-operated system. After the newspaper buyer has inserted the correct coin, the front cover is unlocked, which can then be pulled forward and frees up the space for the newspaper stack.
It proves disadvantageous here, however, that the buyer - although he has only paid for one newspaper - has access to the entire stack of newspapers by opening the front flap and could therefore remove any quantity of newspapers uncontrollably.
There is also the disadvantage that the next customer could possibly fulfill his newspaper request free of charge if his predecessor did not properly close the front cover again.
The folding mechanism also increases the risk of children being injured when operating the newspaper machine. In addition, it must be assumed that the previously known newspaper machine as a waste bin or the like. is misused.
From DE 25 22 181 A1 a large-capacity newspaper machine is known for the delivery of folded printed products from a stack.
The newspapers lie on an inclined surface, it is optional whether the newspapers reach the delivery area with the open or folded side. To even out, the newspapers are obviously filled in layers, as can be seen in the drawing.
Another example of a newspaper vending machine is provided by DE 81 01 414 U1.

The object of the present invention is to provide a device for storing and automatically dispensing printed products, in particular a newspaper or Magazine machines for installation on buses and trains, by means of which only one printed product per amount of money paid can be removed from a designated compartment, the device being easy to use for the newspaper buyer, compact, light and inexpensive to manufacture and also - even for vehicles or traffic-related shocks - is less prone to failure.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous and preferred configurations are mentioned in the subclaims.

The essence of the invention is the provision of a very simply designed newspaper or magazine machine, which consists of a housing with at least one stacking area and at least one chute. An output unit is provided on the stack area of the printed products. The output unit preferably consists of an electrically driven shaft on which at least one friction wheel rolls. By means of the peripheral force, the top printed product is pushed off by using the friction wheel or the friction wheels. It is advantageous that the printed product stack is arranged on an inclined base, the incline increasing in the direction of the removal option designed as a chute. A greater reliability of the separation of the printed products is thus achieved.

When the coin is inserted correctly, which corresponds to the price of a newspaper or magazine, a control unit releases power which drives the gear motor of the dispensing unit. The friction wheels begin to move and, using the frictional force, push the top newspaper or magazine in the transport direction, parallel to the folding or binding of the printed product, from the stack. The uppermost printed product is pushed off the stack and falls into the removal compartment provided for this purpose using gravity through the chute. The printed product passes a limit switch, which then switches off the power again.

Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that the housing for receiving the printed product stack and the output unit is not designed to be much larger than the stack itself.

Another advantage of the invention is that it is very little prone to failure. Due to the stable construction of the housing and the safe guidance of the dispensing unit due to the vertical guide rod, the device is also not damaged, for example when objects are placed on it or a person sits on it.

Furthermore, the device does not cause any disturbing noises.
The device is to be used in buses and trains. In such a case, there are no further problems because, for example, the bus driver can operate the device, ie fill and empty the printed products, set prices and withdraw money.

The invention is to be explained in more detail with the aid of an exemplary embodiment, using the following drawing.
