Abstract

L'invention concerne une bague d'étanchéité propre à être interposée entre un arbre tournant et un support. La bague (10) comprend un corps de bague (26) formé d'un matériau autolubrifiant et comportant une surface intérieure (28) entourant l'arbre (12) et une gorge périphérique extérieure (38); une carcasse (40) montée dans un logement (18) du support (14) et comportant une surface d'appui (46); un joint torique compressible (48) disposé entre la gorge (38) et la surface d'appui (46); et des moyens de liaison (50, 52) autorisant un montage flottant du corps de bague dans la carcasse. Application notamment à des moteurs thermiques ou à des pompes.
