FIG. 7 shows the engagement of the bead 20 in the groove 22 and the contact of the sealing surface 12a on the shoulder 9.

An einem aussenseitig angeordneten umlaufenden Vorsprung 13 des Randes 2 ist untenseitig ein ebenfalls ringförmiger und umlaufender, geschlossener Garantiering 3 angeformt. Der Garantiering 3 ist mit mehreren punktförmigen Stegen 14 am Vorsprung 13 angeformt. Denkbar ist auch eine Verbindung in der Form eines dünnen Filmscharniers. An der Aussenseite des Garantierings 3 ist eine Wegreisslasche 5 angeformt, an der von Hand der Garantiering 3 an einer hier nicht gezeigten Schwachstelle durchgetrennt und unter Abbrechen der punktförmigen Verbindungsstege 14 vom Deckel abtrennbar ist. Wie die Figur 5 zeigt, weist der Garantiering 3 eine Mehrzahl rechteckiger Durchbrüche 16 und zwischen diesen ebenfalls rechteckige plattenförmige Wandteile 15 auf. Benachbarte Wandteile 15 sind jeweils durch einen vergleichsweise schmalen und flexiblen Steg 17 verbunden. Diese Stege 17 bilden somit die untere Begrenzung der Durchbrüche 16. Jedes Wandteil 15 ist jeweils durch wenigstens zwei Verbindungsstege 14 am Deckel 1a angebracht. Die Wandteile 15 sind damit ähnlich einem Scharnier beweglich am Deckel 1a befestigt. Bei aufgesetztem Deckel liegen diese Teile 15 jedoch unter elastischer Spannung an der Aussenseite des Vorsprungs 4 an. Die ebenfalls gespannten Stege 17 untergreifen jeweils mit einem nach innen und leicht nach oben ragenden Zahn 18 unter den Vorsprung 4 und liegen an einer leicht geneigten Unterseite 10 des Vorsprungs 4 an. Die Zähne 18 verankern den Deckel 1a am Behälterkörper 1b, derart, dass der Deckel 1a erst nach Abtrennen des Garantiering 3 abgehoben werden kann. Die Anzahl der Stege 17 richtet sich selbstverständlich nach dem Umfang des Deckels 1a. Bei einem Behälter 1 mit einem Inhalt von eins bis etwa zwei Liter sind wenigstens zehn, vorzugsweise dreizehn bis zwanzig Stege 17 vorgesehen.
