Die hochviskose Paste 6 befindet sich in einem an der Oberseite offenen
zylindrischen Behälter 7. Die offene Seite des Zylinders 7 ist mit der
innerhalb des Behälters 7 angeordneten, runden Platte 2 verschlossen. Die
Platte 2 ist kragenförmig nach außen gebogen und mit einer Kunststoffdichtung
5 abgedichtet. Die Platte 2 liegt auf dem Pastenspiegel auf und folgt
diesem mit fortschreitender Pastenentnahme nach unten nach. In der Mitte
der Folgeplatte 2 befindet sich ein Motor 3a mit Getriebe 3, an dessen
Achse sich ein mehrflügeliger Rührpropeller 4 befindet. Die Achse endet in
einer Nabe 8, die leicht nach unten hin gewölbt ist. In der dargestellten
Ausführungsform sind die Flügel alle gleich lang und erstrecken sich über
den gesamten Durchmesser des Zylinders. Durch diese langen Flügel wird
auch ein Abstreifen der Paste von der Zylinderwand bewirkt, das heißt die
Pastenrückstände an der Behälterwand werden minimiert. Der Rührpropeller 4
kann sich unter der Folgeplatte 2 frei drehen. Werden strukturviskose
Pasten einer solch hohen Viskosität, daß die Entnahmevorrichtung sie ohne
Scherung nicht zu fördern vermag verwendet, so scheren die Propellerflügel
die obere Schicht der Paste, wodurch sich deren Viskosität derart erniedrigt,
daß die Paste dosierbar wird. Außerhalb der Mitte der Platte 2 ist
eine Entnahmevorrichtung 1 in Form einer Exzenterschneckenpumpe angebracht.
Durch diese wird die gescherte und in ihrer Viskosität erniedrigte
Paste, gegebenenfalls über entsprechende Verteiler- und/oder Dosiervorrichtungen,
ihrer Anwendung, beispielsweise einer gewerblichen Waschstraße,

Claims (8)
- A paste container and dispenser consisting of a cylinder (7) open at one end, a displaceable tightly closing follower plate (2) arranged at the open end of the cylinder and a dispenser (1) for removing and transporting the paste,A. the follower plate (2) supporting a motor and transmission system (3), on the shaft of which - projecting centrally through the follower plate (2) - a multiple-blade stirring propeller (4) is arranged in such a way that it is able to rotate freely in the paste just below the follower plate (2) andB. the dispenser (1) being connected to the follower plate (2) outside the center thereof and above the area covered by the stirring propeller (4) and transporting the paste - optionally through a metering unit - to its point of use.
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in claim 1, in which the blades of the stirring propeller (4) have different lengths.
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in claim 2, in which the stirring propeller (4) has at least four blades of which at least two opposite blades are relatively long and cover virtually the entire diameter of the paste container while at least two other opposite blades are relatively short and cover at least the opening of the dispenser (1) during their rotation.
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the angle between the propeller axis and blade has a value of 90° to 60°.
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the dispenser (1) is in the form of an eccentric screw pump.
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the stirring propeller (4) is arranged at a distance of 0.8 mm to 5 mm and, more particularly, at a distance of 1 mm to 3 mm below the follower plate (2).
- A paste container and dispenser as claimed in any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the boss (8) of the stirring propeller (4) is in the form of a downward projection which terminates the shaft of the stirring propeller (4) at its lower end.
- The use of the paste container and dispenser claimed in any of claims 1 to 7 for transporting and dispensing pseudoplastic detergent pastes which have a viscosity, as measured at 25°C, above 1,000 mPa·s and, more particularly, in the range from 150,000 mPa·s to 500,000 mPa·s at low shear rates and below 100,000 mPa·s and, more particularly, in the range from 10,000 mPa·s to 90,000 mPa·s at high shear rates.
