Abstract

The bottles are fed through the cleaning installation while held in shells (1). The removing mechanism incorporates a number of levers and fingers. An L-shaped lever (7) pivots from a point (6) on the machine frame. A lever (9) which is mounted on a tubular shaft (10) is supported at its end in a point (8) at the corner of the L-shaped lever. Fingers (3), two for each bottle, also extend from the tubular shaft, and engage with the bottles. A first crank drive imparts an approximately horizontal movement to the tubular shaft. A lever (11) which engages with the end of the crank swings from a fixed point (12). The second arm of the L-shaped lever (7) moves a second crank which imparts a nearly vertical movement to the tubular shaft. The lever (7) incorporates a roller (13) which engages with a guide slot (14) in a plate (15). THe roller in the curve moves the plate on which the guides (18) for the bottles are mounted.

Description

The invention relates to a device for cleaning bottles according to the preamble of claim 1.

Bottles are transported for mechanical cleaning in bottle cells, summarized in bottle baskets, on conveyor chains through a bottle cleaning machine, where they are cleaned in several stations. The cleaned bottles are then removed from the bottle cells by a removal device and conveyed to a removal conveyor.
The problem here is the exact takeover of the bottles from the bottle cells by so-called removal fingers or carriers.

A device (DE 25 52 211) for transporting vessels such as bottles and the like is known. The like. Along a stationary support surface, for example for dispensing bottles from cleaning machines with a conveyor and a transfer device, consisting of several juxtaposed disks with drivers which rotate about a common axis. The axis of rotation of the drivers is guided back and forth along an essentially straight-line movement path in the feed direction of the transmission device during an extension stroke, the driver arm in the working position being movable from its starting position into the corresponding removal position within this movement section.
It is disadvantageous in all of these removal systems by means of cams and driver arms that the bottles fall onto the driver arms. The delivery is restless because the bottles hit the drive arms, sometimes even jumping. In addition to the disadvantage of the inexact decrease, the noise development is also very high.

Furthermore, the generic dispensing device (DE34 36 535) known, in which the bottles above the delivery table on a chute are conveyed by baskets against the dispensing direction of the machine over the chute edge and are taken over there by fingers which grasp the bottles downwards in the direction of dispensing through slots in an essentially vertical sliding surface at the front of the sliding surface lead to the table. Appropriate synchronized, cyclically operating drive means advance the sliding surface in the direction of discharge after the surfaces have been set down. The fingers run through a movement path, in the lower part of which they run downwards in front of the retracted sliding surface, rise behind the advanced sliding surface and take over the bottles in the area of the upper turning point at about the height of the sliding edge, the movement of the fingers in the area of the upper turning point Movement path has a component directed against the output direction.
Here, the bottles are guided relatively precisely, but a high finger speed is necessary due to the one-finger pick-up system. The pick-up system has short cycle times, which have an unfavorable effect on functional reliability and noise development.

The object of the invention is to remove machine-cleaned bottles directly from the bottle cells and to guide the bottles safely to a conveyor at a low speed of the pick-up system and with little noise.

This object is achieved in accordance with the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. Further favorable configurations are described in the subclaims.

The advantage of the inventive solution is that the mechanism of the take-off system has two pick-up fingers on a rotating disk (tubular shaft), but the movement sequences are nevertheless advantageously designed similar to a one-finger system. However, the speed to a one-finger system is only half as big. With short cycle times, this slower-running system has a very positive effect with the same performance. The possibility of making the movement of the pick-up fingers more optimal means that the bottle is guided safely from the bottle cell to the conveyor. There is no drop section.

The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment.
The associated figure shows a schematic representation of a removal device.

The device for removing vessels from cleaning machines consists, inter alia, of bottle cells 1 combined in bottle baskets, in which the vessels, in the example bottles 2, are passed through the bottle cleaning machine. The cleaned bottles are removed from the bottle cells 1 by pick-up fingers 3 and fed to a removal conveyor. The transporter consists of hinged belt chains 4 and is limited by a railing 5. The pick-up finger 3 engages the bottom of the bottles 2 when they are still in the bottle cell 1. For this purpose, the pick-up finger 3 executes a defined acceptance movement, which is created by superimposing several movement sequences. An angular main rocker 7 is mounted on a fixed frame point 6 on the bottle washer. This main rocker 7 has a main bearing 8 at the apex, in which a wave rocker 9 is arranged. On the rocker arm 9 there is a tubular shaft 10 to which two pick-up fingers 3 are fastened per bottle cell. A first crank drive for an approximately horizontal movement of the tubular shaft 10 has a crank 19 mounted in the main bearing 8, which is connected to the rocker 11 via a joint. The rocker 11 is movably attached to the bottle washer in a fixed joint 12. At the other end of the main rocker 7 there is a second crank drive which realizes an approximately vertical movement for the tubular shaft 10. On the main rocker 7 a roller 13 is also arranged, which engages in a guide curve 14, which is in a Guide plate 15 is located. The guide plate 15 is fastened to a continuous support 17 articulated on parallel levers 16. The guide rails 18 are located on the carrier 17, on which the bottles 2 slide from the bottle cells 1 to the flat top chains 4. The second crank mechanism, which realizes the approximately vertical movement of the tubular shaft 10, consists of a crank 20 which is mounted on the upper angle of the main rocker 7 and is connected to the tubular shaft 10 via a joint and the rocker 21. The drive of the removal device is located at the apex of the main rocker 7 in the main bearing 8 and drives the crank 19 of the first crank drive directly. The crank 20 of the second crank drive and the tubular shaft 10 are driven by two toothed belts 22; 23.
The pick-up movement of the pick-up fingers 3 and the movement of the guide rails 18 are realized by this gear technology. It is defined in such a way that the pick-up finger 3 constantly attacks the bottle base of the bottle 2 to be picked up from the start of the pick-up process, briefly pushes it into the bottle cell 1 and then always lowers the bottle 2 in contact with the guide rail 18 as far as the hinged belt chains 4 and there the Bottles 2 settled at reduced speed.
For the purpose of overload protection, the rockers 11, 21 of the first and second crank drives are designed as pneumatic cylinders, which cause the drive to be switched off when the set load value is exceeded and exceeded. So that the weight of the tubular shaft 10 and the transmission devices is absorbed by a suspension, the suspension consists of a gas spring 24, which is arranged between the pivot point of the tubular shaft 10 and the frame point 6.
A number of bottle cells 1 are arranged side by side in bottle cleaning machines. Accordingly, the elements such as pick-up fingers 3 and guide rails 18 are also present in a corresponding number. The carrier 17 for the guide rails 18 and the tubular shaft 10 are arranged continuously, the other elements are provided on both sides.
