Description

L'invention se rattache au secteur technique des emballages.
Il est notoirement connu d'utiliser des emballages en matière plastique thermoformée pour la présentation de produits et articles divers. Généralement, ces emballages comprennent deux coques conformées pour être assemblées en superposition afin de créer un volume fermé.
En outre, chaque coque peut présenter des empreintes pour le logement et le positionnement du ou des produit(s) à présenter.
On a également proposé d'agencer ces coques afin d'assurer la stabilité de l'emballage en position verticale. Pour obtenir ce résultat différentes solutions existent.
Dans une première forme de réalisation, les deux coques sont réalisées indépendemment l'une de l'autre. L'une d'entre elles présente au niveau de sont côté de dimension réduite, une partie articulée destinée à constituer le fond, tout en faisant office de piètement à l'ensemble de l'emballage, après superposition des deux coques. Cette solution est d'un coût de revient élevé étant donné que les deux coques nécessitent deux opérations distinctes. En outre, des difficultés peuvent apparaítre pour accoupler les deux coques.
Dans une autre forme de réalisation telle qu'illustrée par l'enseiquement du brevet EP-A-0526032, les deux coques sont obtenues en une seule opération de thermoformage et sont réunies au niveau de leurs côtés de petite dimension par une partie articulée constituant le fond de l'emballage. Cette partie de fond est profilée en section pour également faire office de piètement, afin d'assurer, comme indiqué, la stabilité de l'emballage en position verticale.
Cette solution n'est cependant pas satisfaisante étant donné que le développé à plat de l'emballage, compte-tenu de l'accouplement des deux coques, au niveau de leurs côtés de dimension réduite, nécessite un encombrement très important. Il est donc nécessaire d'utiliser des moyens de mise en oeuvre spécifiques, d'un coût élevé.
En outre, quelle que soit la forme de réalisation, la partie constituant le fond stabilisateur n'est pas verrouillée avec les parties correspondantes des coques. L'aspect visuel de l'emballage n'est donc pas très satisfaisant à ce niveau.
L'invention s'est fixée pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients, de manière simple, sûre, efficace et rationnelle.
Le problème que se propose de résoudre l'invention est de concevoir un emballage dont les différentes parties constitutives sont obtenues en une seule opération ne nécessitant qu'un encombrement réduit au niveau de la fabrication en ayant pour objectif d'obtenir un emballage ayant une parfaite stabilité verticale afin de pouvoir le présenter en appui sur un support quelconque.
Pour résoudre ce problème, il a été conçu et mis au point un emballage conforme aux caracteristiques de la revendication 1 :
Un autre problème que se propose de résoudre l'invention, est d'assurer une parfaite tenue des éléments constitutifs de l'emballage en position d'utilisation.
Dans ce but, la partie rabattable présente en combinaison avec les agencements des parties correspondantes des coques, des moyens complémentaires de verrouillage.
Avantageusement, les moyens complémentaires de verrouillage sont constitués par des empreintes en creux et en relief.
Pour résoudre le problème posé de pouvoir rabattre l'une sur l'autre les deux coques, compte-tenu de la présence de la partie faisant office de piètement, les agencement des coques recevant la partie rabattable, sont séparés au niveau de la partie d'articulation desdites coques, par une échancrure.
La partie rabattable présente une surface d'appui plane constituant un fond pour l'emballage et pour l'appui des produits.
Selon une autre caractéristique, les deux coques sont de forme générale quadrangulaire et sont réunies par leurs côtés de plus grande dimension, par une bande présentant une ligne faisant office d'articulation.
Les différentes parties constitutives de l'emballage sont réalisées en matière plastique thermoformée.
L'invention est exposée, ci-après plus en détail à l'aide des dessins annexés, dans lesquels :
  • La figure 1 est une vue montrant le développé à pla de l'emballage selon l'invention.
  • La figure 2 est une vue en coupe longitudinale considérée selon la ligne 2.2 de la figure 1.
  • La figure 3 est une vue en perspective de l'emballage, après mise en place de la partie faisant office de piètement, mais avant fermeture des coques.
  • La figure 4 est une vue en coupe longitudinale de l'emballage en position fermée.
    • Comme le montre la figure 1, l'emballage désigné dans son ensemble par 1 comprend d'une manière connue, deux coques 1a et 1b. L'ensemble de l'emballage est obtenu par thermoformage en matière plastique. Les coques 1a et 1b sont de forme générale quadrangulaire. De même, chaque coque présente des empreintes en creux 1a1, 1b1 dont les formes, dimensions et profils correspondent très sensiblement au(x) produit(s) ou article(s) à emballer.
    Ces dispositions ne sont pas décrites en détail car elles ne font pas partie de l'objet spécifique de l'invention et sont parfaitement connues par un homme du métier.
    Selon l'invention, les deux coques 1a et 1b sont accouplées d'une manière articulée par leurs côtés de plus grande dimension 1a2, 1b2 pour être ouvertes latéralement. Cette liaison s'effectue par une bande 1c présentant une ligne médiane de pliure 1c1.
    Suivant une autre caractéristique, l'une des coques 1a présente, en débordement de son petit côté 1a3 situé perpendiculairement au côté 1a2, une partie rabattable 1d. Cette partie (1d) s'étend sur la totalité de la longueur du côté 1a3 et est conformée pour constituer, en combinaison avec des agencements que présente les petits côtés 1a3 et 1b3, et après avoir rabattu en superposition les coques 1a et 1b, un élément stabilisateur pour le maintien en position verticale de l'emballage.
    La partie rabattable 1d présente une section transversale de forme très sensiblement trapézoïdale ou triangulaire, délimitant deux surfaces d'appui inclinées 1d1 1d2.
    Comme il sera indiqué dans la suite de la description, ces surfaces d'appui 1d1 1d2 coopèrent avec des rebords 1f, 1g, inclinés d'une manière correspondante, et qui constituent les agencements des petits côtés 1a3, 1b3. L'articulation entre la partie débordante 1b et le côté 1a3 s'effectue au moyen d'une ligne de prépliage 1e.
    D'une manière importante, les rebords d'appui 1f, 1g sont séparés par une échancrure 1h formée coaxialement à la bande d'articulation 1c. Ces dispositions permettent de rabattre les deux coques 1a et 1b l'une sur l'autre en combinaison avec la partie de piètement 1d.
    Suivant une autre caractéristique, la partie de piètement 1d présente, notamment en débordement de chacune de ses surfaces d'appui 1d1 1d2 des empreintes mâles 1i aptes à coopérer avec des empreintes femelles 1j formées aux extrémités des rebords d'appui 1f et 1g.
    De manière connue, chacune des coques 1a et 1b délimite un rebord périphérique d'appui 1k et 1l présentant chacun des moyens complémentaires de verrouillage 1k1, 1l1 sous forme d'empreintes en creux et en relief. De même, la partie du rebord située à l'opposé des petits côtés 1a3, 1b3 constitue une poignée de préhension 1m, 1n.
    Les caractéristiques de cet emballage, tel que défini, s'avèrent particulièrement avantageuses.
    L'articulation des deux coques au niveau de leurs côtés rectilignes de plus grande dimension permet de les ouvrir latéralement selon le sens de la largeur, permettant ainsi de rationnaliser la fabrication par thermoformage.
    Le fait de pouvoir verrouiller l'élément de piètement 1d au niveau de l'embase de l'emballage, à savoir au niveau des rebords d'appui 1f, 1g, améliore la tenue de l'ensemble. A noter que cet élément de piètement 1d peut présenter une surface d'appui plane et horizontale 1p pour le ou les produit(s) emballé(s).
    Bien évidemment, l'emballage selon l'invention peut être exécuté en toutes formes et dimensions.
    Les avantages ressortent bien de la description.

    Claims (7)

    1. Emballage du type de ceux présentant deux coques articulées (1a) (1b), aptes à être rabattues en superposition et fixées dans cette position, pour constituer un volume fermé, pour le rangement et la présentation de produits, caractérisé en ce que :
      les deux coques (1a) (1b) sont accouplées d'une manière articulée par leurs côtés de plus grande dimension (1a2) (1b2) pour être ouvertes latéralement,
      l'une des coques (1a) présente en débordement de son petit côté (1a3), situé perpendiculairement aux côtés de plus grande dimension (1a2) (1b2), une partie rabattable débordante (1d),
      la partie rabattable débordante (1d) présente une section transversale de forme très sensiblement trapézoïdale ou triangulaire apte à coopérer en appui, après avoir rabattu en superposition les coques (1a) (1b), avec des agencements (1f) (1g) desdites coques (1a) (1b) sous forme de rebord d'appui incliné, afin de constituer un élément stabilisateur pour le maintien en position verticale de l'emballage.
    2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la partie rabattable (1d) présente en combinaison avec les agencements (1f) (1g) des parties correspondantes des coques (1a)(1b), des moyens complémentaires de verrouillage (1i) (1j).
    3. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les agencements (1f) (1g) des coques (1a) (1b) recevant la partie rabattable, sont séparés au niveau de la partie d'articulation (1c) desdites coques, par une échancrure (1h).
    4. Emballage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les moyens complémentaires de verrouillage (1i) (1j) sont constitués par des empreintes en creux et en relief.
    5. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la partie rabattable présente une surface d'appui constituant un fond (1p) pour l'emballage et pour l'appui des produits.
    6. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les deux coques (1a) (1b) sont de forme générale quadrangulaire et sont réunies par leurs côtés de plus grande dimension, par une bande (1c) présentant une ligne faisant office d'articulation (1c1).
    7. Emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les différentes parties constitutives de l'emballage sont réalisées en matière plastique thermoformée.
