Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a housing for a monitoring device, consisting of a housing top and a Detachably connectable lower housing part to the upper housing part according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such monitoring devices, e.g. Passive infrared motion detector, have an electrical circuit and transmit and / or receiving devices. The electrical circuit is usually arranged on the lower part of the housing, while the transmitting and / or receiving devices in or on the upper housing part are located and by means of electrical lines the electrical circuit are connected. This electrical Cables can only be opened when the housing is open, e.g. by means of soldering, with the electrical circuit and the transmit and / or Receivers are connected so that they are one for the length of the actual connection is not required have to. Not only does this result in higher resistance, but also difficulties in connecting the two housing parts, e.g. by means of screws, the electrical Lines are disordered inside the housing. Is for example, a heat-generating electrical component in provided to the monitoring device, there is a risk damage to the insulation of the electrical lines. It is also possible that the electrical lines between jammed in the two housing parts and when connecting of the two housing parts are damaged. The assembly of such Housing is therefore time-consuming and costly and unsafe.
In DE-A-3 910 653 there is an electrical plug connection between described the upper housing part and the lower housing part. The mechanical connection of the two housing parts is done in that each housing part screw holes has, in which only then inserted a screw and can be screwed on if the electrical Plug connection is already established. As long as the Screw connection is not established, the electrical Absorb all mechanical forces, in particular by the weight of the upper housing part including the infrared detector caused tilting and Shear forces. There is therefore a risk that the electrical Connector is exposed to wear, which the Contact security impaired.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to develop a housing of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that a secure and fast connection between the electrical circuit arranged in the lower housing part and the transmitting and / or receiving devices arranged in the upper housing part is made possible.
This object is characterized by that in claim 1 Invention solved. Preferred further developments are in dependent Described claims.
With the invention it is now possible to electrical Lines to the immediately required length restrict, with a scheduled arrangement of the electrical Lines in both housing parts is ensured. There will also be a risk of jamming the electrical Lines avoided when connecting the two housing parts.
So it is an advantage if the upper part of the housing lower side surfaces has guide grooves with at least one on the side edges of the lower housing part arranged guide profile can be brought into engagement.
As a result, the two housing parts can be guided together be connected so that always a correct assignment the sockets and connectors are guaranteed.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that recesses in the guide grooves are provided in which the guide profile for locking of the upper housing part engages with the lower housing part.
In this way, screws and the like can be connected of the two housing parts are omitted. Such a lock is less time consuming and eliminates damage the housing parts, e.g. by over tightening the Screws, off.
If according to a further advantageous embodiment of the Invention is provided that the guide profile as at least a detent spring is also a problem Unlocking the housing parts, e.g. for maintenance or Repair of the monitoring device possible.
For this purpose, according to a further advantageous embodiment the invention provided that the upper housing part in Area of the detent spring an opening for unlocking the two Has housing parts.
A tool, e.g. a Screwdriver, which brought the detent spring out of her Unlocking position presses.
To make unauthorized opening more difficult, the opening is on the closed end face of the upper housing part. As a result, the force is not as with conventional snap connections directly perpendicular to the detent spring, but from hers Applied in the longitudinal direction.
