Claims (10)

  1. Système de correspondance de couleurs pour convertir des signaux d'entrée de couleurs d'un premier espace de couleurs produit par un dispositif d'entrée (22) en signaux de sortie de couleurs d'un second espace de couleurs pour leur application à un dispositif de sortie (36) ayant des caractéristiques de dispositif, le système comprenant :
    a) des moyens de conversion d'entrée (TRC22, CG22) sensibles aux signaux d'entrée de couleurs pour générer un premier ensemble de signaux de couleurs correspondants dans un espace de couleurs calibré,
    b) des moyens de gamme (CG36) pour emmagasiner des signaux de couleurs en mémoire dans un troisième espace reproductible par le dispositif de sortie (36) et pour générer des informations représentant la gamme de couleurs de sortie transformées dans l'espace de couleurs calibré,
    c) des moyens de correspondance (TColorMatcher) sensibles au premier ensemble de signaux de couleurs dans l'espace de couleurs calibré et aux informations générées (Gamut Info) pour générer un second ensemble de signaux de couleurs dans l'espace de couleurs calibré qui soit dans la gamme des couleurs de sortie,

Méthode pour convertir des signaux d'entrée de couleurs d'un premier espace de couleurs produit par un dispositif d'entrée (22) en signaux de sortie de couleurs d'un second espace de couleurs pour leur application à un dispositif de sortie (36) ayant des caractéristiques de dispositif, la méthode étant mise en oeuvre dans un ordinateur comportatnt une mémoire et comprenant les étapes de :
    a) générer à partir des signaux d'entrée de couleurs un premier ensemble de signaux de couleurs correspondants dans un espace de couleurs calibré,
    b) générer des informations (Gamut Info) à partir de signaux de couleurs emmagasinés en mémoire dans un troisième espace reproductible par le dispositif de sortie (36) de façon à représenter la gamme de couleurs de sortie transformées dans l'espace de couleurs calibré,
    c) utiliser les informations générées (Gamut Info) et le premier ensemble de signaux de couleurs dans l'espace de couleurs calibré pour générer un second ensemble de signaux de couleurs dans l'espace de couleurs calibré qui soit dans la gamme des couleurs de sortie,
    d) convertir le second ensemble de signaux de couleurs dans l'espace de couleurs calibré en signaux dans le troisième espace de couleurs, et
    e) générer des signaux de sortie de couleurs dans le second espace de couleurs en utilisant les signaux de couleurs dans le troisième espace de couleurs et les caractéristiques du dispositif de sortie pour leur application au dispositif de sortie (36).

  10. Méthode telle que définie dans la revendication 6, dans laquelle le second espace de couleurs n'est pas calibré, et l'étape d) comprend les étapes de :
    d2) transformer le second ensemble de signaux de couleurs en signaux de couleurs XYZ dans un espace de couleurs calibré, et
    d3) transformer les signaux de couleurs XYZ en signaux de couleurs CYMK dans un espace de couleurs CYMK non calibré.
