Abstract

The present invention relates to an improved container (1) for drinks or beverages having any conventional design as a function of the use involved thereto, comprising a sealed chamber (3) preferably located under the bottom of a cavity (2) containing the drink or beverage, said chamber (3) having a small through-hole (5) suitable to fill by injection said chamber (3) with a cold-storing liquid or water, all that devised so that the contents of the container (1) are kept cold any longer when the liquid contained in the chamber (3) has been frozen.

Description

IMPROVED CONTAINER FOR DRINKS OR BEVERAGES DESCRIPTION
Object of the invention
The present patent application refers to an improved container for drinks or beverages having remarkably advantages and innovations over the present containers used with equal or likewise purposes.
More particularly, in the invention was devised a kind of container designed for drinks or beverages, so that in this container is actually assured the drinks or beverages remained cold during their presence therein. Background of the invention
It is already known that the cold-gushed drinks or beverages such as cava, white wine or even water, when being placed at the concocted glasses, cups, etc. are rapidly heated and drinks or beverages can only then be relished by the user at their proper temperature, during the first sips or gulps and only if they are just out from the refrigerator or the like.
To overcome these drawbacks, some containers are presently used, such as for instance, jugs or pitchers made up with a double wall to house between their walls a cold- storing liquid, for example, achieving it by laying the latter into a refrigerator, so as to extend any longer the cold condition of the drinks or beverages to be contained therein.
The disadvantage of this kind of containers lies in their fully closed make-up, which do not allow liquids to be frozen, therefore the contained liquid is already foreseen as being non-cold-storing and the double wall gives the container a thickness turning it rough and unpleasant to use particularly as related to its edge, upon touching the user's lips. Description of the invention
The improved container or drinks and beverages, object of the present registration, has been devised such that drinks or beverages contained therein are held cold during their presence in the container, while the used container holds back traditional slenderness and style characterized by the updated designs of glasses, cups and the like, with all the aesthetics and comfort of everyday use.
Tne container of the invention can accept any conventional shape, as a function of any kind of a leading drink or beverage, in all cases however, it has in the support located under the cavity designed to contain the drink or beverage, a sealed chamber separated from the cavity through a partition wall or the like, said chamber having a small hole suitable for injecting frozen liquid or water and capable of holding cold any drink or beverage, during its presence on said container.
This kind of container, preferably, will be made of crystal and comprising either one or several easily and mutually couplable parts, for instance, one for any drink or beverage and the other for a cold-storing liquid.
However, other materials are not excluded, provided they have a good thermal transfer between drink or beverage and cold-storing liquid, so that the former can be held up cold all the time.
The container can also have an added filling basin, pipe or chamber or be manufactured to contain cold-storing liquid or water, even providing an outside or inside coil, with said cold-storing liquid or water.
To further complete the description made below and facilitate in this way a better understanding of the invention's features, the present description is accompanied with a set of drawings, which figures illustrate by way of a non-exhaustive example of the model, the most relevant details of the present invention. Brief description of the drawings.
The sole figure of the drawinga shows a mode of embodiment of the present invention, wherein the container to be registered is taking the shape of a cup, although obviously any other shapes or designs suitable to the purpose or kind of drink or beverage involved can also be adopted. Description of a preferred embodiment.
Returning to the above referred figure and according to the adopted numbering, in this embodiment can be appreciated an improved container for drinks or beverages, which in the disclosed case has a cup shape (1) with a corresponding cavity (2) designed to contain a drink or beverage, preferably assigned to the cup, the cup being characterized for having under the space (2) containing the drink or beverage, a sealed compartment (3) spaced from said cavity through a wall (4) , the sealed compartment being prepared at one point (5) and injection-filled by any cold- storing liquid or water through said hole, so that the drink or beverage contained in the cavity (2) of the cup (1) is held back fittingly cold.
In this way, the drink or beverage contained in said cup (1) remains cold during all the time is being held therein, since the heat which can be absorbed by the drink or beverage from the environment is taken up, in turn, by the cooling liquid, which is holding back said drink or beverage in the cold condition. Several modes of embodiment of the invention have also been proposed, among them it should be amphasized the fact that the cup (1) is made with two parts, for instance, the bodies (2) and (3) , so that these parts (3) must only be held up in the freezer taking in this way remarkably less space than in the case the cup (1) is to be stored by units and when a very quick assembly with the remainder of the cup should thereafter be performed.

Claims

C L A I M S
1.- IMPROVED CONTAINER FOR DRINKS OR BEVERAGES having any conventional design as a function of the use involved thereto, characterized in that it comprises a sealed chamber preferably located under the bottom of the cavity containing the drink or beverage, said chamber having a small through-hole suitable to fill by injection said chamber with a cold-storing liquid or water, all that devised so that the contents of the container are kept cold any longer when the liquid contained in the chamber has been frozen.
2.- IMPROVED CONTAINER FOR DRINKS OR BEVERAGES, according to the previous claim, characterized in that an alternate embodiment has also been devised, in this case being made up with more than one part, for instance, by means of two parts relative to the respective parts containing a drink or beverage and the cold-storing liquid, these parts being easily fitted for instance, by means of a snap-acting coupling.
