Mit 1 ist in Fig. 1 ein Kartonzuschnitt bezeichnet, der einen Boden 2 aufweist, an welchem vier Seitenwände 3, 4, 5 und 6 angelenkt sind. Die Seitenwände 3 und 4 sind an ihren einander zugekehrten Schmalseitenkanten durch zwei Zwickelecken 7 und 8 verbunden; zwischen den Seitenwänden 4 und 5 sind entsprechende Zwickelecken 9 und 10 vorgesehen, während die Zwickelecken zwischen den Seitenwänden 5 und 6 mit 11 und 12 bezeichnet sind. Auch zwischen den Seitenwänden 3 und 6 sind entsprechende Zwickelecken 13 und 14 vorgesehen; die Zwickelecken sind jeweils durch eine Faltlinie 15, 16, 17 bzw. 18 miteinander verbunden. Die an den Seitenwänden 3 und 5 angeformten Zwickelecken 7, 9, 11 und 13 sind mit nasenförmigen Vorsprüngen 19, 20, 21 bzw. 22 versehen, die über die jeweilige Faltlinie hinausstehen. An den vier Seitenwänden 3, 4, 5 und 6 sind an ihrer vom Boden 2 abgekehrten Längskante Siegellaschen 27, 28, 29 und 30 angeformt, von denen die beiden an den Seitenwänden 4 und 6 vorgesehenen Siegellaschen 27 und 29 hakenförmige Verlängerungs-Lappen 31, 32 bzw. 33 und 34 aufweisen.1 in FIG. 1 denotes a cardboard blank which has a
Beim Aufrichten des Zuschnittes 1 zu einer schalenförmigen Verpackung werden die Zwickelecken um die dazwischenliegende Faltlinie gefaltet und dann gemeinsam an die Außenseite der beiden Seitenwände 4 und 6 angelegt. Sie decken dort einen Bereich ab, der jeweils durch die Ziffern 23, 24, 25 und 26 gekennzeichnet ist. Die Zwickelecken 7, 9, 11 und 13 überdecken dabei die Zwickelecken 8, 10, 12 und 14, wobei lediglich die nasenförmigen Vorsprünge unmittelbar an der Seitenwand anliegen. Wenn nur die Innenseite des Kartons mit einer siegelfähigen Kunststoffschicht versehen ist, tritt beim Ansiegeln der Zwickelecken an die Außenseite der jeweiligen Seitenwand eine Siegelverbindung nur im Bereich der nasenförmigen Vorsprünge ein. Um diese Siegelverbindung zu optimieren, können die Bereiche 23 bis 26 entsprechend behandelt sein. Die Siegellaschen 27, 28, 29 und 30 stehen beim Aufrichten der Verpackung -wie in Fig.2 sichtbar- waagerecht nach außen ab, wobei sie sich im Bereich der hakenförmigen Verlängerungs-Lappen überlappen, ohne jedoch verbunden zu werden. Erst beim Aufsiegeln eines Deckels wird auch dieser Überlappungsbereich miteinander versiegelt, wodurch der Eckbereich sehr dicht wird und die Verpackung zusätzlich eine Stabilisierung erfährt. Der Kartonzuschnitt 41 in Fig.4 entspricht weitgehend dem Zuschnitt nach Fig.1, lediglich sind an den Seitenwänden 4 und 6 Siegellaschen 47 und 49 angelenkt, welche in ihrer Länge der Länge der jeweiligen Seitenwand entsprechen. Zum Verschließen einer aus diesem Kartonzuschnitt 41 aufgerichteten schalenförmigen Verpackung wird zweckmäßigerweise ein Deckel 51 verwendet, wie er in Fig.5 dargestellt ist. Dieser Deckel 51 hat innerhalb einer Deckelfläche 52 zwei Wandabschnitte 53 welche durch Schnittlinien 54 in der Materialoberfläche von der übrigen Fläche abgeteilt sind. Diese Wandabschnitte 53 liegen auf den Siegellaschen 47 und 49 auf und werden mit diesen durch Siegeln verbunden. An den beiden anderen Kanten der Deckelfläche 52 sind zwei Seitenwandlappen 55 und 56 angelenkt, die an die Seitenwände 3 und 5 angelegt und mit diesen verbunden werden.
