Device for winding-up and unwinding a semi-rigid and floating curtain (4) for covering a swimming-pool, including, in a buried dry room (3) outside an edge of the pool (30), a winding-up drum (1) and an unwinding drum (2) with horizontal and parallel axes, said curtain (4) passing above the edge (31) of said pool (30) and under a cover (5) of said room (3), characterised in that the unwinding drum (2) is placed above the winding-up drum (1) and is provided at its periphery with longitudinal protrusions (20) capable of engaging in transversal grooves (40) provided for in the curtain (4), in its lower face (41), and in that said curtain (4) is supported by a transversal sheet (21) resting on the edge (31) of the pool (30) and is extended with a slight inclination to the unwinding drum (2), tangentially to this latter.
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the side edges (22) of the sheet (21) are folded back into a U-shape and cover the side edges of the curtain (4).
  3. Device according to claim 1 or to claim 2, characterised in that a scraper (52) is arranged transversally, substantially tangentially to the upper face (42) of the curtain (4), at the level of the unwinding drum (2), said scraper (52) being made integral with the end of a container (53).
  4. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the cover (5) covering the room (3) is formed of elements (50) resting on cross beams (51).
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that one of the beams (51) transversally includes, in front of and above the unwinding drum (2), nozzles (54) projecting a water jet (55) for washing the upper face (42) of the curtain (4).
  6. Device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the drums (1, 2) are driven by means of a motor gear.
  7. Device according to claim 6, characterised in that driving of one of the drums (1, 2) causes the uncoupling of the other one.
  8. Device according to to claim 6, characterised in that it is provided with a magnetic-type travel-limit detecting system allowing to automatically stop the motor gear.
