Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for emptying a waste container, the waste container having a bottom flap which closes the underside of the waste container and the bottom flap is articulated on one side so that it can be pivoted downwards.
- Waste bins of the generic type are preferably set up on public roads. To empty them, either a solid container is placed under the waste container or a sack is placed under the container.
- a disadvantage of the previously used emptying process is that part of the waste often falls next to the collecting container.
- When using a sack there is also the problem of poor handling when opening the bottom flap of the waste container. Since such waste bins are very numerous in cities or municipalities, longer emptying times due to poor handling mean higher personnel costs for the cities and municipalities.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device for emptying a waste container, which considerably simplifies the emptying of the waste container, thereby enabling the waste container to be emptied more quickly.
- the device should also be structurally simple, so that existing waste containers can be easily converted. In addition, the waste should not fall off while the waste container is being emptied.
- the object is achieved in that at least one hook is fastened under the base plate, into which a part of a collecting container can be inserted.
- the invention is advantageously characterized in that the collecting container is adjusted and held under the waste container by the part inserted into the hook. Due to the part lying in the hook, the collecting container is held on one side, so that only half the force for holding the collecting container has to be expended advantageously by the personnel emptying the waste container.
- the hook forms a joint together with the part of the collecting container, the hook being fastened near the articulation point of the bottom flap. Due to the rotatable mounting of the part in the hook, the collecting container can or is carried by the hook while the bottom flap is being pivoted into the collecting container.
- the advantageous arrangement of the hook in the vicinity of the articulation point of the bottom flap ensures that the entire contents of the waste container fall into the collecting container, since the rear edge of the collecting container goes from the hook in the direction the suspension of the waste container.
- the hook is advantageously opened towards the articulation point of the bottom flap.
- the collecting container only has to be brought under the waste container, the collecting container or its part being able to be inserted into the hook by a simple pulling movement in the direction of the hook opening, whereby the collecting container is carried on one side by the hook.
- the bottom flap is connected to the articulation point by means of at least one bracket, the hook being integrally formed, screwed, welded, riveted, anoxed or glued to the bracket.
- the opening of the collecting container should advantageously be larger in its dimensions than the bottom flap of the waste container. This ensures that no waste falls next to the container and must therefore be collected or swept up.
- the collecting container has a support ring which holds a disposable or reusable sack, the sack holding the contents of the waste container.
- the reusable bag is suitably releasably attached in or on the support ring, e.g. tied in or held on the support ring by means of push buttons or a Velcro fastener, so that a filled reusable bag can be replaced easily and quickly with an empty reusable bag.
- the part of the collecting container should be a bracket or pin which is molded, welded or glued to the support ring. It is also possible that the support ring itself can be inserted into the hook.
- the support ring has a handle on the side opposite the part. After the person carrying out the emptying has introduced the collecting container with its part or support ring into the hook or hooks, all he needs is a hand with which he holds the carrying handle of the collecting container to hold the collecting container under the waste container. With the other hand, she can unlock the lock to open the bottom flap. The dead weight of the bottom flap and the waste stored on it cause the bottom flap to pivot into the collecting container. The closer the hook is formed on the bracket to the articulation point, the less the collecting container is lowered, which additionally ensures that no waste can fall onto the road over the edge of the collecting container.
- the support ring is advantageously a curved profile, in particular a profile tube made of metal or plastic.
- FIG. 1 shows a waste container 1, the lower opening 3 of which can be closed with a bottom flap 2.
- the bottom flap 2 is pivoted on the rear side of the waste container 1 by means of a bracket 8 attached to the underside of the bottom flap 2 at a pivot point 7.
- a waste insertion opening 13 in the upper region, through which the waste reaches the waste container.
- a lock in particular a snap lock 12, which holds the bottom flap 2 against the opening 3 of the waste container 1.
- the waste container 1 is attached to a rail 15 on which the bottom flap 2 is articulated.
- the rail 15 can be attached to a house wall or a post 14.
- a hook 4 On the underside of the bracket 8 is a hook 4, which is open to the rail 15 or to the pole 14.
- the collecting container 6 which consists of a support ring 9, to which a handle 10 is molded.
- the support ring 9 holds a disposable or reusable bag 16 made of a rigid or deformable material.
- the support ring 9 is inserted into the hook 4 with its part 5.
- the opening 11 of the collecting container 6 is located under the waste container 1.
- Figure 2 shows the bottom flap once in the closed and once in the open (dashed) state.
- a bracket 8 is attached to the underside of the bottom flap 2 and is articulated at the articulation point 7.
- a hook 4 is integrated, which is arranged approximately below the rear side of the bottom flap 2.
- the bottom flap 2 can be pivoted downward about the articulation point 7 in a circular arc.
- the part 5 or the support ring 9 itself can be inserted into the hook 4.
- the opening of the hook 4 points approximately upwards, as a result of which the collecting container 6 is securely carried on one side by the hook 4.
- FIG. 3 shows a top view of the waste container 1 and the associated bottom flap 2.
- the collecting container 6 is inserted into the two hooks 4 with its support ring 9 or with its part 5.
- the dimensions of the opening 11 of the collecting container 6 is larger than the lower opening 3 or the bottom flap 2 of the waste container 1.
- the support ring 9 of the collecting container 6 is shaped so that a loop forms the handle 10.
- FIG. 4 shows a waste container 1 with the bottom flap 2 open.
- the bottom flap 2 is pivoted into the collecting container 6.
- the hook 4 takes half the load-bearing capacity for the collecting container 6.
- the bottom flap 2 is pivoted into the closed position B.
- the bottom flap 2 engages with its part 17 corresponding to the locking or snap lock 12 of the waste container 1, whereby the bottom flap 2 is held in the closed position.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for emptying a waste container, the waste container having a bottom flap which closes the underside of the waste container and the bottom flap is articulated on one side so that it can be pivoted downwards.
Waste bins of the generic type are preferably set up on public roads. To empty them, either a solid container is placed under the waste container or a sack is placed under the container. A disadvantage of the previously used emptying process is that part of the waste often falls next to the collecting container. When using a sack, there is also the problem of poor handling when opening the bottom flap of the waste container. Since such waste bins are very numerous in cities or municipalities, longer emptying times due to poor handling mean higher personnel costs for the cities and municipalities.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a device for emptying a waste container, which considerably simplifies the emptying of the waste container, thereby enabling the waste container to be emptied more quickly. The device should also be structurally simple, so that existing waste containers can be easily converted. In addition, the waste should not fall off while the waste container is being emptied.
The object is achieved in that at least one hook is fastened under the base plate, into which a part of a collecting container can be inserted.
The invention is advantageously characterized in that the collecting container is adjusted and held under the waste container by the part inserted into the hook. Due to the part lying in the hook, the collecting container is held on one side, so that only half the force for holding the collecting container has to be expended advantageously by the personnel emptying the waste container.
It is also advantageous if the hook forms a joint together with the part of the collecting container, the hook being fastened near the articulation point of the bottom flap. Due to the rotatable mounting of the part in the hook, the collecting container can or is carried by the hook while the bottom flap is being pivoted into the collecting container. The advantageous arrangement of the hook in the vicinity of the articulation point of the bottom flap ensures that the entire contents of the waste container fall into the collecting container, since the rear edge of the collecting container goes from the hook in the direction the suspension of the waste container. The hook is advantageously opened towards the articulation point of the bottom flap. Thus, the collecting container only has to be brought under the waste container, the collecting container or its part being able to be inserted into the hook by a simple pulling movement in the direction of the hook opening, whereby the collecting container is carried on one side by the hook.
It is also advantageous if the bottom flap is connected to the articulation point by means of at least one bracket, the hook being integrally formed, screwed, welded, riveted, anoxed or glued to the bracket.
Since today's waste containers are made of plastic, it is advantageous to make the articulation of the base plate by means of a metal bracket or a bracket made of sheet metal, since such a part is subject to high wear due to the acting forces. Since the hook according to the invention is also subject to relatively high mechanical loads, it makes sense to integrate or weld or glue it into the articulation bracket carrying the bottom flap. A screw connection between the hook and the articulation bracket is also possible, as a result of which it is easy to reattach the hook to waste containers that have already been set up.
The opening of the collecting container should advantageously be larger in its dimensions than the bottom flap of the waste container. This ensures that no waste falls next to the container and must therefore be collected or swept up.
It is also advantageous if the collecting container has a support ring which holds a disposable or reusable sack, the sack holding the contents of the waste container. The reusable bag is suitably releasably attached in or on the support ring, e.g. tied in or held on the support ring by means of push buttons or a Velcro fastener, so that a filled reusable bag can be replaced easily and quickly with an empty reusable bag.
The part of the collecting container should be a bracket or pin which is molded, welded or glued to the support ring. It is also possible that the support ring itself can be inserted into the hook.
It is also advantageous if the support ring has a handle on the side opposite the part.
The support ring is advantageously a curved profile, in particular a profile tube made of metal or plastic.
By pulling the handle of the collecting container, the bottom flap is pivoted upwards towards the waste container due to the leverage effect, with sufficient momentum the base plate falls into the snap lock of the waste container, whereby the base plate is held securely in the closed position and the waste container is held down seals off. A possible exemplary embodiment is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings.
