Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Eckverbinder für Fenster-, Tür- od. dgl. Rahmen, mit winklig zueinander angeordneten Einsteckschenkeln, und mit einem mechanischen, innerhalb eines Einsteckschenkels angelenkten Träger, der einen Klebstoffvorrat aufweist und der den Klebstoff mit einem über Außenumfangsflächen des Einsteckschenkels vorstehenden Druckteil beim Einstecken des Einsteckschenkels in einen Rahmenholm unter Freisetzen des Klebstoffs aus einem Vorratsbehälter in einen zwischen dem Einsteckschenkel und dem Holm gelegenen Verbindungsbereich auspreßt.The invention relates to a corner connector for window, door or the like. Rahmenholme stoßen winkelig aneinander und müssen fest miteinander verbunden werden. Es ist bekannt, Rahmenholme miteinander zu verschweißen. Die hierbei anzuwendende Klebemasse muß so zwischen die miteinander zu verklebenden Teile gebracht werden, daß einerseits eine hinreichende Verbindungsfestigkeit erreicht wird, andererseits aber eine Verschmutzung der aneinander stossenden Rahmenholme vermieden wird. Hierzu ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, den eingangs beschriebenen Eckverbinder mit einem Klebstoffvorrat zu versehen, der sich in einem vom Winkelscheitel enfernt angeordneten Vorratsbehälter befindet. Der Vorratsbehälter ist im wesentlichen keilförmig ausgebildet und liegt mit seiner einen Keilfläche an einer Außenumfangsfläche eines Einsteckschenkels an, während seine andere Keilfläche von einem aus dem Außenumfangsbereich des Einsteckschenkels vorstehenden, in Gestalt einer Platte ausgebildeten Druckteil zu beaufschlagen ist, deren keilspitzenseitige Plattenkante mit einer Einhängeleiste versehen ist, mit der der Vorratsbehälter am Einsteckschenkel gelenkig angebracht werden kann. Wird der Eckverbinder mit dem an ihm angehängten, im wesentlichen von dem plattenförmigen Druckteil gebildeten Träger in das Innere des Rahmenholmes hineingeschoben, so drückt die auflaufende Kante des Rahmenholmes auf das Druckteil, mit dem der Vorratsbehälter zum Platzen gebracht wird, so daß der Klebstoff freigesetzt und in einen zwischen dem Einsteckschenkel und dem Holm gelegenen Verbindungsbereich ausgepreßt wird. Es kommt zu einer Benetzung des Außenumfanges des Einsteckschenkels und der Innenwand des Rahmenholms, durch die beide miteinander verklebt werden. Die Ausbildung des Klebstoffvorrats in einem keilförmigen Vorratsbehälter und dessen baueinheitliche Vereinigung mit dem plattenförmigen Träger ist aufwendig, wie auch dessen Anlängung an dem Eckverbinder, dessen Eckschenkel einen der Einhängeleiste des Trägers entsprechenden Einhängehaken bzw. eine Hakenleiste aufweisen muß.Frame bars meet at an angle and must be firmly connected.
